Mr. Thinker...Tim Tebow is not ugly. But I'm glad you don't think he's cute...that'd just be weird!!!

Nah, not really. I don't think guys care quite as much as girls whether they're ugly or not. I'm not sure I know the definition of 'cute' or 'handsome' when it comes to men, but I don't think I would fall into the 'cute' category! People's outward appearance doesn't really matter all that much. It's what's on the inside! I know that's cliche, but it's true!

Well, sure Mr. Thinker. Course. But good looks are nice too... ;) And no one falls for someone unless they somehow find him/her attractive, truth be told. I'd say Tebow is handsome. I've never spent much time thinking about it though... =P

Ha ha, you're right. No one falls for ugly people. But it's not just looks to me. My occasional crushes actually usually aren't incredibly gorgeous.

i think Robby Bruce is kind of cute, but I know that will probably go nowhere. Instead, i dream of a guy I met in a singing group last year...

You think Robby Bruce is cute? You and Emily are alike! Haha. And yes, everyone has that crush that they see a lot who knows them but never understands their feelings. My crush is like that, and from what I hear, so is PF's and yours.

Mr. Thinker- what you say is quite true. Recently two young men, uh, showed a bit of interest in me. One was doggone ugly and just as rude...the other wouldn't have won Mr. Handsome-of-the-month either, but he had a darling personality. If I was to have taken up on either of their offers to go out, it would have been the one with the nice attitude, of course. I found him quite a dear. Whats inside really does matter, at least...to me it does. But like Pound Foolish said, good looks are nice, too...

Haha! It cracks me up when people say 'interest' or 'interested'! Actually, I think a couple of other young men are 'interested' in my crush as well! And they asked you out? Wow, that's pretty big.

Wow. I don't think any boys ever take notice of me. I don't know if that would be a good thing or not. But, I am starting to feel left out. All of my friends at church are at least comfortable around boys, and some are dating, but I say "hi" to the boys, but I don't really know what else to say, except to the boy that I argue with. If (when) I ever get asked out, I am sure that I will turn tomato red and stutter out something about asking my parents. Then, the same thing will happen when I ask my parents.

Once, after a dance at my church (which I don't go to anymore. The dancing that they did was really uncomfortable. And, only 2 boys asked me to dance, and there was like 12 or more slow songs. Plus, I don't think they really count. One boy was a LOT younger than me, and the other only asked me because one of the leaders told him too. :() Anyways, after the dance, my Nana asked me if I liked any of the boys, and I kinda liked one, and she guessed his name! I turned so red.

That's perfectly normal, Godsgirl. Just a couple of days ago, my mom asked me if I liked girls yet. I responded with "What?" and then she said "Oh, that means you do!" Then she went on to tell me about a crush she had when she was a bit younger than me. Parents and grandparents, for some reason, like to ask about crushes. It's embarrassing, but that's what they do. Yes, if or when I ask someone out or they ask me out, I will probably be about, I don't know, 18. Maybe 17.

What a problem, Godsgirl. I've said this before today, but you're a very sensitive person. It must be hard, trying to handle your feelings
I'm truly sorry about your crush, Mr. Thinker. For once, I'm really not sure what to say. I can't so I can't say "Go get 'er!" Because you're so young... but, on the other hand, I'm too much of a romantic to try and discourage you. (Did I just admit I'm a romantic? Well, I guess everyone knows that already... I can't imagine how imagine you guys caught on, you're geniuses.) I'd say always be as polite as you can, and let yourself be yourself. I know you already know that, just a reminder. And, trust me, girls notice extra politeness. Does she have a phone? If not, do you or your mom know her home phone number? Either way, if people are always around when you're around her, you need to DO THAT! Or even just ask her if she ever gets on any chat boxes, or her email, or whatever. I realize you're not going to do anything I suggest, just trying to give you a little push in the right direction. All I'm trying to say is, I guess, think about what you need to do.
How much does she mean to you? If she means enough...
As for Suzy, she's astonishingly attractive, so it's only natural she gets guys attention. And, yes, her "interest" line is amusing.
By the way, Suzy (I know you're reading this, dear, how could you resist a post like THIS?) Attraction is a matter of taste, so, basically, someone who seems ugly to one person, may be perfect to another. Fortunately for you (I know you'll deny this, but it's true) as I said, you're astonishingly lovely. So, in College, when you're around a ton of other men, very likely, you'll basically have your pick of cute guys. Sound tantalizing? Thought so. ;)

Though my sister thinks that Bradley (the guy I was talking about) likes me, if one day he decided to ask he out, I can just imagine my response:
Bradley: 8-) So, you want to, you know, go out?
Me:       *snort*  *snort*      (this continues, until)
5 minutes later:
Me:    *snort* Ha ha ha ha ha ha hehe *ahem*
Bradley: So is that a yes?

/\ /\ /\ He does like her. Its true! I think that once he matures, she will be more likely to, well, agree. And I don't think that she would ever snort to his face.

Awwww, poor Bradley! Give him time, Underseasie! You never know! Today I saw a guy that I haven't seen in a while...I've always thought he was kind of weird and unsure of himself. But, today I realized he's getting kind of...well, *ahem* hot. ((awkward silence))
And Lord forgive those falsehoods you told, Pound Foolish...but if you want to think that I'm attractive, then I ain't complaining!
