I'm surprised this topic hasn't already been made seeing all the avatars and signatures. I finally saw Frozen the other day and I now understand the whole hype for the movie. If you haven't heard of the movie here is a synopsis and poster.

Synopsis
Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.
Like I said i just saw this movie and loved it! Disney Animation Studios has upped there game in resent years. Sense Tangled, all of there movies have been just great (Tangled-2010, Winnie the Pooh-2011, Wreck It Ralph-2012, Frozen-2013). The animation has been spot on and beautiful, the characters and story have been just so delightful and original. Such is the case with Frozen. Frozen is a great spin on the folk tale The Snow Queen and delivers the laughs, adventure, and sorrow a great kids movie should. And don't get me started on the music, just listen to it for your self. Let It Go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moSFlvxnbgk
I still have that song stuck in my head...it's so good, it's even got nominated for the Original Song category for the 86th Oscars®. The whole movie is filled with an amazing original score, I love it so much. It's charm, fun characters, great music, and gripping story just scream perfection. But with all great movies there has to be a couple of negatives. It did start off strong and then got a little slow in the middle but soon picks up in the rising action. A small complaint i know, but really that's a good thing if that's really the only negative thing i could find. Overall great music, fun and in-depth characters, good solid story, beautiful animation all add to make a great kid/animation movie. I give it
9/10
I want to know what you guys think, comment below!
I liked it so much I changed my set from ponies. That should tell you something.
But seriously, I thought it was awesome. I loooovved Let it Go, and Elsa's ice castle was so beautiful. Though Tangled is (and will probably always be) my favorite movie, Frozen comes in close second.
I loved Frozen!! And yes, Let it Go, was my all time favorite song from Frozen, ( I am in the midst of learning it on the piano) along with Do You Want to Build a Snowman (My friend and I literally watched the whole song sequence, while going "Awwwwww!! *tear* " ).
I also loved how it was focused on the love between two sisters. =] And yes, you could hear everyone moan and groan when Franz lied.
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. -Proverbs 27:1
Sam: Up on our mountain, where the muffins stink, the boys aren't, and we play music all day long.. xD
Stella: Sounds AWESOME!
I loved loved loved Frozen!!! But it made me think: maybe it's just me, but I always find little stuff like Do You Want to Build a Snowman where it's cute and sad to be totally devastating and super dramatic for me. But then I see a totally emotional scene in some other movie that's supposed to be heart-wrenching and I'm just sitting there, stoic faced and completely unconcerned.

Ha, I know what you mean, I'm still in love with Tangled. Not sure where either of the movie's are on my Disney Scale!

No, I understand you. Like I just said every time I hear the song I just want to cry, gives me a bitter sweet feeling. To answer your question I think most people were touched by that scene. Small sequences like this usually pack as much story/emotion as possible. Beginning to end it's going threw the girls life till present, showing us the separation and how it's slowly killing there relationship. That's just plain sad alright ! And it doesn't help that the song is so dang good.
I REALLY like Frozen! It was such a cute movie with awesome morals and amazing music!
When I originally saw it, I thought "I really like this, but Tangled is still my favorite." But after contemplation I decided I like Frozen more...
Here is my reasoning: Where Tangled is a cute fairy tale and totally fun, there really was no moral... She is a victim, Eugene "saves" her, and they live happily ever after. A light enjoyable story, but really nothing to learn from it.
But then I turn around and watch Frozen. Not only does it have the same amazing charm of Tangled, but we are getting a whole lot more depth! We learn that true love is way deeper than infatuation. We learn about sacrifice. We learn that true love doesn't just apply to a romantic relationship...
Overall I have moved Frozen to #1 and Tangled to #2.
Well, everyone likes this movie. I tend to disagree with Fodo on principle (who am I kidding, I disagree with everyone on principle) but this movie was something to see. Incidentally, I agree that Disney is on an upswing. Meet the Robinsons was brilliant, but Chicken Little, Brother Bear... Meh. BB was maybe worth seeing once or twice, but that generation of Disney was a real low. Thankfully, the movies since have been great, indeed. (Planes was another so-so, but it was Disney Toons, which is technically not directly connected to Disney. They're the one's you can hold responsible for Lady and the Tramp 2, The Jungle Book 2, etc. If it wasn't for the Cinderella sequels and Tinker Bell movies I'd never forgive them.) I would like to defer on what Liz said, though. Tangled makes me think about who our friends really are, how we can be happy even in the midst of trouble, how love can come from where you least expect, all sorts of things you don't normally mull over.
Anyhoo, I already said my opinion on Frozen in the movies category topic, but for those of you who didn't catch my wondrous words...
It was quite brilliant. But really, a cutesy snowman, both the main characters were girls, and a cute love triangle, pop songs, plus that huge emphasis on girly-friendshipy-sisterly-gooeyness. That movie just crawled to the ladies on its hands and knees, no wonder all you girls like it.
But oh well, who cares. It was delightful, funny, and the characters. Definitely liked the characters. That shocker with Hans (okay, not such a shocker, it's kinda predictable, but still its delivered SO well) and sweet ol' Olaf and awesome Elsa and so lovable Anna. It was a very unique fairytale in that it doesn't take place over a long length of time. It has obligatory opening spanning several years, but after that, it's all one big rush. The entire story took place in a couple days. (Or was it even just one day? I don't recall a night scene.) It was one big desperate race, an all or nothing dash at freedom and love surrounding an "eternal winter" that didn't see a single dawn. It's a wonder to behold.
PS, however, kudos to the person I can't remember who said Christoph "was they guy who drove the sled." He was. Sorry.

Pound Foolish - Movie Critic, ladies and gentlemen. But I have to agree with everything you said anyways. I think these more recent CG movies are doing a really impressive job so far. Disney's heading upwards, and I like it

I loved Frozen!
I love musicals, and the music in this movie was great. Also, Idina Menzel(Elsa) was on Broadway's Wicked, which my sister and I love, so we were so excited when we found out she was going to play a character in it! All of the characters were lovable and Olaf was hilarious. The story was very creative, and Elsa's powers were amazing! Anyway, just my quick thoughts on it, for I don't have time to write a deeper review like PF's =P
I know, Mara, I was super excited about Idina Menzel too Despite those few plot bits that didn't quite line up with total logic (it is a Disney movie of course) I thought it really made an awesome movie, and had a lot of great factors...

That's my favorite (other then "Let It Go")! Lexi got the album the day after we watched it! And there's isn't a day that does by that I don't listen to at least one of the songs! (Ben can attest to that )

I still haven't seen it either, but I really, really, really want to, and hopefully we might see it next week. I heard Do You Want to Build a Snowman? on someone's iPod and that night I had to look up the video of it. I love it! And then my brother started looking up other clips and songs from Frozen and eventually spoiled the ending. Not very happy with him about that, but, I still can't wait to see it!
I made a promise, Mr. Frodo. A promise. "Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee." And I don't mean to. I don't mean to. - Sam from The Fellowship of the Ring movie

What Hans's heart looks like.
The story itself was beautiful, and now the movie is beautifuller. I mean, not fuller, just more beautiful. Hans is a weasel, nothing less. I am going to send him to Weaselton! I mean- Wesselton. Now, just give me a minute. 1,2,3,4......60!!! Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs! Can I say something crazy? Sven is the cutest thing ever! Especially as a baby.
My input.
