I think you should add conservative and liberal. I am much more comfortable calling myself a conservative then a republican. Just because I agree more with one than the other. And no, they are not the same.

I am going to post my stuff later. I am going to take it when I have more time to think about it...
Political Quizzes
I went ahead and changed the poll to include ideologies as well. Now it's possible to choose a political party and overall beliefs. Unfortunately, changing the poll erases all the previous results, but it's not a big deal.

Thank you T. S.! That makes me feel a lot better! Ohhhh thats to bad! I am sorry!

My ISideWith results:
My Political Compass results:
It had the option to see how you side with dropped out candidates as well, and I sided 88% with Bernie Sanders, who was my preferred candidate.
My views have changed a lot in the past couple years, so the results don't really surprise me.
Also yes, I'm Canadian, but I took a pretty big interest in this election, along with a lot of other Canadians that I know.

Hello, Joy! It's nice to see you around again!
My views have also changed quite a bit over the last few years, moving me to the same quadrant as you, but a little closer to the center.

Moderate conservative. Not surprising, but I'd have liked it better if it was more like the ISideWith quiz, where you have to give a reason for what you believe; there are questions I wasn't sure if I should answer on a personal level or on a political level. Just because I believe something personally doesn't mean I think it should become national policy.
it's not about 'deserve'. it's about what you believe. and i believe in love
Usually when I take this quiz, I get Social Liberalism or Libertarian Socialism.
Another thing that throws me off is the questions with loaded terms. There’s so much baggage that goes along with “maintaining family values,” and I don’t know if it’s more in the spirit of the question to go with my gut reaction, or try to separate the term from the baggage, if that’s even possible. I just went with neutral for that question.
Yeah, this is a really important distinction. I felt like there were questions that played to both of these, but with some it’s difficult to tell which way you should answer.TigerShadow wrote:Just because I believe something personally doesn't mean I think it should become national policy.
