How did you come to find out about the SS?

So, I was sick at home, reading odyssey scoop, (as I sometimes do) When I saw the odyssey scoop message boards link. I clicked on it, Read the whole E.S.K page, and joined, and the rest is history.

I first saw the Soda Shop when it was first made, because I check the Odyssey Scoop often for episode reviews and other stuff like that. I thought about joining, but I decided not to. Later I saw the ToO and saw that they had a Mafia game. I was interested in joining the ToO, but then I looked at the Odyssey Scoop and saw this place again, and saw that it had Mafia too. I decided I wanted to join and play Mafia, because I love that game even though I've only played it once before, so I registered. It took a long time for my account to be activated, but it was activated just in time for the new Ponyville Mafia game.

Just so you know, Mafia was *not* the only reason I joined. It helped me join, but that wasn't the only reason. I love Adventures in Odyssey, and I love discussing it. At my house, there isn't anyone to discuss AIO with except for my siblings, and they haven't heard as much of it as I have. I also like reading the discussions in the Church forum group. And I was interested in joining here before I ever saw Mafia, just at that time I was on other websites more often, so I didn't think I needed to add another website. I am excited to be on the SS.

I joined because Bren made me...

But, I never really got on much...

Then, when the whole ToO vs. SS thing started, I decided to come here to attempt to clear up some misconceptions...

However, now that I'm somewhat integrated into the comunity, I really enjoy it here, and I'm not here anymore simply to convince you that the ToO is better.

No, I think this place is great, and is better than the ToO in some ways.

(Before you get too excited, I will say that I do also think the ToO is better in other ways.)

I'm genually glad that I decided to become more involved here.

AIO Wiki posted a while back about the What Odyssey is not and from there I found the Odyssey Scoop. Later, Odyssey Scoop posted about the SS Message Boards and I created my account and here I am now and glad to be here too!
