Re: Chatter in the Booths
Woah, Wretched Sinner (I still think of you as Wooton, lol), it's good to see you again. It's been a while. This seems to be the week of people returning to the Soda Shop. It's been a very long time. I don't know why I even thought to return. The thought just popped into my head. I'm glad I c...

Re: Chatter in the Booths
Wow, I can't believe it's already been 7 years. I just missed out on the anniversary chat :( I'm almost finished Grade 12 \:D/ and currently I'm trying to decide which university's of admission to accept. I've missed the last 5 Adventures in Odyssey albums, so I really need to catch up at some point.

Re: Debating Catholicism
Whew, It's been so long that I forgot that I even created this thread. Looking back at my posts from 6 years ago is pretty cringy. I've grown a lot as a Christian over the years and I've decided to revisit this thread and state my beliefs on the topic. The Roman Catholic Church is not truly Christia...

Re: The Bookshelf
I've recently started to read With Fire and Sword by Henryk Sienkiewicz. It's easily the most vivid, beautifully written book that I have ever read. Anyone who is a fan of historical fiction would absolutely love this book.

Re: Vote for your favorite movie of 2016
Sing Street was awesome. Arrival was the year's best sci-fi movie, and La La Land is nearly a 10/10.Wakko wrote:Sing Street is number one for me, still anxiously waiting to see La La Land and Arrival though.

Re: Music Suggestions
I'm the other indie person on the band along with Audrey, so I'll be suggesting similarish stuff, also will probably have some explicit stuff (with warnings). From Indian Lakes - Everything Feels Better Now and Absent Sounds are two really solid electronic indie rock albums, highly recommended, cle...

Re: Music Suggestions
So I'm into music, like REALLY into music. When discovering music it's good to set the foundation by listening to the classics, find out what you like and then expand your tastes from there. Here are some suggestions to get you started off. Rock Pink Floyd** Led Zeppelin The Rolling Stones Radiohead...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens. IN THEATER. And yes, it was totally awesome. Scores more points for NOT giving me a headache like Battle of the Five Armies did. I think Battle of Five Armies gave everyone a headache...just because it was a pretty terrible movie in general. Well at least it was better...

Re: Movies
I got to see an advanced screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens last week. The 2.5 hour wait in line was worth it as it was one of the best movies in the series. It was such an enjoyable, and funny movie. Spoilers!!!! I can't believe Han died! He never reunited with Luke :( Kylo Ren is such a goo...

Had to work an 8 hour shift until 11 on Halloween. My amazing manager let me off at 9 though so I got to set off some fireworks with friends for a few hours.
