Re: Looking At AIO Episode Types As Food Groups

And to top off the pyramid you can throw in Emily/J&P Agency episodes at the top of the pyramid or fatty foods. You either love em or you hate them and too much of them ends badly.

Re: #57 "A Call To Something More" Speculation

OJ, Gary Locke even draws Connie with a mysteriousness flat upper body. As Mr. Thinker said, it's an odd liberty on his part, probably to try and make things extra kid-friendly. (Unnecessarily.) Connie's mom hasn't even been in any episodes. Not only has she never once appeared since the relaunch, ...

Re: The Last Sentence in Adventures in Odyssey

Connie saying "I love you whit." Then whit says, "I love you too I actually think this would be a very appropriate way to end the show.Or something close to that such as Connie saying "Whit, thanks for putting up with me all these years." and Whit saying "That's what l...

Re: Is it wrong for women to wear pants?

So why say all that to me ? Was I taking a stand against modesty? Nnnn-nope. If you think so, tell me where. I suppose that's true Jason. But we all know men shouldn't wear women's clothing except tutus and except maybe dressing as Snow White for a costume party. Because from some of your comments ...

Re: Is it wrong for women to wear pants?

Well one of us boys has to take the girl's side, Jason, you male chauvinist. :P Thanks, Eleventh Doctor. And Aaron, that's hilarious. I have to go there to get my Emily-green tutus, as well. I'm not taking a side "against girls", I'm taking a side for modesty. You make it sound like enfor...

Re: Is it wrong for women to wear pants?

So, you have to find a middle ground. And what that middle ground is... is a matter of opinion. Dress according to your style. Your conscience. Your heart. And let no one tell you that you can't. One get's sick and tired of seeing the way girls get pushed around. To an extent I agree with you. I re...

Re: Odyssey Crossing Some Lines?

I honestly think that my parents, or my grandparents, maybe even my pastor (not completely sure) wouldn't raise an eyebrow at one of those lines. They've never bothered me. Maybe suicide pact is taking it a little too far, but are these the only things you can find wrong with what Odyssey has said?...

Re: Odyssey Crossing Some Lines?

Jason, how come you're taking on Vic's quick little comment, but not even mentioning Mr. Warren's much harder to answer end-all post? A coincidence? Actually yes.... I completely Missed Mr. Warren's post.... Out of the four mentioned (answering machine, suicide pact, George Washington, and C...

Re: Odyssey Crossing Some Lines?

Oh my gosh. Ya'll need to chill out. They're jokes! Of course suicide and canibalism aren't good but those jokes were funny and made me laugh! We need to seperate humor and jokes from real life. And as for the answering machine, that was also funny! I laughed. Maybe it's beause I'm not the type to ...

Re: An Act of Nobility

It's a classic reveal: a character tells a "fictional" story but you have your suspicions. Then at the very end, out comes something from the "story", showing it actually happened, and your left with a happy feeling that the story was true... in a fictional sense. So it never oc...

Re: Bernard Walton's Return

The main reason I want them to bring him back even for one episode would be to clearly bring the curtain down on his character. They've done this for Jack and Joanne, and even MITCH... That's the main thing. They brought back Mitch to settle an already settled matter. Was it needed? Not really, howe...

Re: Bernard Walton's Return

It'd be nice i they did like a mini story arc having to do with Bernard. Even if it was something as simple as his disappearance, which made him absent for the majority of the episodes about him. Or it wouldn't even have to be a mystery. Maybe Bernard's business is taking him away from Odyssey, so t...

Re: An Act of Nobility

This is a fantastic episode. I do think there are a couple possiblities. It could be a story he made up, about some he knew, or about himself. 1. Whit is a fantastic story teller, and has written several stories/plays that teach a point. He could have come up with a story on the fly, or took one tha...

Re: A little debate..

Foreknowledge is different than God's will and predestination. God's will is that we live perfect lives and during the course of our life we will not live perfectly but because God is outside of time and all knowing He already knows how we will stray from His will, God is not sitting on some cloud ...

Re: Odyssey Crossing Some Lines?

As for Jason, even if he was going to swear, I'm not sure it matters. This is not because I believe that swearing is right, but, since they bleeped it out, there's no effect. And swearing is all about the kind of effect it has on your mind. When you hear a swear word, it plays over and over in your...

Re: Odyssey Crossing Some Lines?

Jason was clearly swearing. It was just too abrupt otherwise. The beep came right when Jason would say a swear word, and was identical to the beeping inserted in TV shows. There's no way he was saying, "junk." So... oh gosh, Jason, in the whole time we've known him, says one single swear ...

Re: A little debate..

@Jason Can you expand on what you mean by God may or may not have a "feeling" of what we will do? Because I would say that God definitely knows everything, He does not experience time in the same way we do, He is omniscient. But foreknowledge is not the same as predestination. God has a p...

Also, what about the episode, "Grandma's Visit"? To copy what Jason did: EX: Matthew: "Wait, you haven't gone to the bathroom for a week, Camilla? Then how did you--" Camilla: "You don't want to know." Problem: I think they went a little far on that. I mean it's funny....

How did I miss this topic until now? O.o *Disclaimer: May or may not seem canon with previous albums in this topic. Album 64: Trusting through the Unknown Jason has become quite the advice giving guy lately. In fact he's begun mentoring a college student. Things take an unexpected twist when Jason's...
