Re: Movies

I second this statement. I just watched King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword. Very well made and acted. You saw it too? I enjoyed that one greatly. Shame it flopped; I would have bought the sequels. What it flopped? How? Man that was good... I don't know how exactly. Some reasons I've seen online: ...

Re: Ask Countesss

Both naval and civilian ships of all kinds were used to try and get 400,000 guys out before the enemy got to them...

Re: Ask Countesss

Dunkirk is a city on the French coast. In the context of the movie it refers to an event out of WWII, so it makes sense that you wouldn't necessarily know of it.

Re: Down Gilead Lane

FWIW, I remember listening to the modesty episode, and I think it was acceptable considering its audience: prepubescent kids from relatively sheltered Christian environments. I mean, imagine if the producers had actually talked to a porn user who is trying to quit; what we would get would be far too...

Re: The Naica Cave of Crystals

Meh. I'm not inclined to reinterpret the Bible to fit science, but it's not that big a deal. It's not like we're trying to argue that Jesus didn't come back from the dead, or something like that. Scientists will do their thing, and if they agree with the Bible, great. If they don't, whatever.

Oooh, I'd forgotten about attack helicopter; I guess I'll have to create a fourth group for anthropomorphic weapons (I've found a quite a few pictures of anime girls as battleships).

She? "It" then if you prefer since the vast majority of us cannot agree on the NinjaHunter's gender. :wacky: Seeing as how there are at least 76 genders, I think it may be some time before the Hunter's true self can be uncovered. I only believe in three: guy, girl, and confused....
