Re: Smaug draws!

What? It's a-more Odyssey art! (Finally figured out how to resize pictures, luckily) https://s31.postimg.org/6g2miwi2j/marvin.jpg In my mind, Marvin plays on the baseball team at Odyssey High, when he's not playing basketball. Considering how he wasn't all that great at it when he was little, I imag...

Re: Smaug draws!

I don't have a particular style to most of my artwork, so I can never really tell how my drawings will look. It's Jules! http://i60.tinypic.com/692f06.jpg This isn't exactly how I pictured her in my head, but it's as close as I can get it without spending another couple of hours on what was supposed...

Re: Tiger's Sketchamascribbles

I seem to have a thing for lanky brunettes. For my part, I had a crush on two of those characters when I was younger. I seem to have the more specific taste of lanky brunettes who wear glasses. ;) Lovely work, as always. Those markers seem to leave some sort of textured finish (I don't know what th...

@Tiger, yeah, I always saw Liz as a fairly big girl. Not exactly overweight, just tall and broad.

Eugene is making the face I always make when debugging. -__-'

Thank you people for saying nice things. :inlove:

Here's more! I had to try drawing our favourite resident genius. Here he is doing some debugging.

"A sixteen-piece orchestra?" "That's a lot of pieces—do they even make that many instruments?" —Tom and Bernard And then Tom starts naming all the instruments he knows. "Let's see, now. What am I going need? A tuba, drum, fiddle, electric banjo... Even - even a bigger banjo..." Bernardisms in...

Re: New Disney Princesses

This is an interesting discussion. I'd just like to pop my head in here, though, and point something out. A lot of you are saying that Disney should adopt stories from cultures outside of Europe, and that would indeed be very wonderful, as it would be an opportunity to introduce diversity of culture...

Re: Can't Odyssey move on?

Poor Andre Stojka. I hope he doesn't read this thread. :anxious: That said, although it feels unthinkable to have Whit die, I found myself rather liking this. It strikes me as poignant. Killing off Whit might work for a few episodes when Whit is still fresh in everyone's minds and all the lessons he...

Smaug draws!

Hey peeps. I have a graphics tablet and sometimes I like to draw things on it. Like this young fire deer. http://i58.tinypic.com/260bbzt.jpg One time I drew a tutorial for my friends to use when drawing self portraits. It's a very serious tutorial. http://i61.tinypic.com/2qvh7aa.jpg And of course, I...

Re: Connie's Book

This is really awesome! :D excellent job, some of those lines sounded really spot-on. I've never thought about trying to write a chapter of Connie's book, but now I'm intrigued. It sounded like most of her book was a retelling of various AIO episodes. Is it just me, or would that be an awesome idea ...

Re: HSCG's art/photos

Wow, this is a great thread, your photography is really great! Some of those shots look really, really good, like the snake shot (must have been tricky to get right, I'd imagine!) Your drawings are also lovely. :) I really like your style, with the faceless characters. There's something very artisti...

Re: Tiger's Sketchamascribbles

Ahh! Aaahhhhh! Tiger sketches! Tiger sketches! They are all awesome, absolutely amazing. I think I've seen them all on the ToO, except that adorable one with all the Trandiness and the Christmas jumpers. *jumps up and down* PERFECTION. I love it so so much, everything from the colouring to the body ...

Re: My artsy fartsy thingers

I know, I'm commenting on all the art posted here, but I really love seeing other people's creative works. This is great hooligan! (Your name is too long though... :P ) I like your interpretations of the official sketches. Is that how you picture the characters too? :)

Re: The Harry Potter Thread

I take that Pottermore Sorting Quiz with a pinch of salt, though, as it sorted me into Slytherin. While I'm secretly flattered, of all of the houses that I am not, Slytherin I am not the most. I expected Hufflepuff, or maybe Ravenclaw if I was lucky. I'd have taken Gryffindor, if only for my stubbor...

Re: The Harry Potter Thread

Oh, this book series is awesome. Every time I sit down and read through it, I find myself remembering just how good it is, and how different the books are from the movies! (I've seen all eight movies many, many times, mostly because my siblings and I are nerds and every Christmas will watch at least...

Re: Best Scenes In Odyssey History

I really love the scene in Exit when Tom shuts off the Imagination Station and we hear all the previous adventures playing back, as the machine slowly powers down. It's such a great ending to that awesome climax. Too many other great scenes to even count. One that I remember listening to with tears ...
