Re: Random things that make you think of AiO
We have a Christmas tradition every year, my uncle comes to our house in the morning (usually in the middle of our own opening-gifts time), dressed as one of the Wise Men. He gives each person "gold" (chocolate coin) and "frankincense/myrrh" (scented soap, hand sanitizer, etc.). ...

What's one song you aspire to learn to play on piano? Have you seen Pirates of the Caribbean? Do you like Arnold Palmers? Do you want the practical answer or the far-out daydream answer? Most likely what I want to learn is Franz Liszt's Liebesraum, on a challenge from a friend to combine it with th...

Re: What does Applesauce do?
I don't mean that Applesauce was created to "wreak havoc" at Whit's End , just that the chaos was caused because of, and not by, the program and Connie's attempt to access it. "Mabel" did it, on behalf of Whit, to protect Applesauce. It just makes sense for Whit to put in such a ...

Re: Odyssey Conundrums
I think it has been said that their physical appearance is similar; for example, Leonard says, "My word! You look like someone I once knew," to Eugene, so they look alike, apparently. Also, they are both highly intelligent and their main interests are in science.

I read the first chapter and I thought (in succession), "What the...? Good grief!! :O That was fast!" But I began liking it around the 4th chapter. I look forward to the next installation.

Also, Leonard has a distinct British accent, which Will Ryan would've had to fake in order to play Leonard. Not that he couldn't do that.

Re: Odyssey Conundrums
Or, when Whit programmed the adventure, he put in the names of the people around Whit's End and whether they were Christians or not. Whit, being Whit, wouldn't have programmed it to know Eugene's name. Because he stated explicitly that it was to help CHRISTIANS know that death is not bad. Eugene no...

Re: Odyssey Conundrums
I'm wondering a bit how the "death" program differentiates between Christians and non-Christians; it's a machine, and can't see people's hearts. Only God can see what's in the heart. Obviously it can differentiate and does, because Eugene had a horrific experience and Whit a wonderful one,...
