spelling bees to global warming. He’s great at history and geography,

A young, sweet girl, Samantha McKay often serves as her
older brother Grady's conscience, and unintentionally forces him to
think things out. Until her father returned, she constantly showed that
she missed him. Sam is devoted to her family in the way that only a
little girl can be. The world to her is simple, and she doesn't quite
understand why people keep complicating things. |

Sarah Pratchett
Sarah Prachett is a student at Odyssey Middle School who
is friends with many of the other kids around town, including Mandy
Straussberg, Liz Horton (with whom she also clashes because she finds
Liz bossy), Alex Jefferson, Cal Jordan, and Nathaniel Graham; she has
ongoing tension with Jared DeWhite, but still goes along with his ideas
and schemes from time to time. She is a reporter for the Odyssey Owl.

Seth Young
Seth Young is an old friend of Aubrey's who has come to
Christ, but he's a little misguided in his evangelical ways. He happened
to be the love interest of the Odyssey characters Mandy Straussberg and
Liz Horton, in which a fight over him erupted and momentarily ended
their friendship. Seth has a very driven personality. |
