The
End of the Year
Yep... we all knew it would come sooner
or later. The end of the year has arrived. Today is the last day of the
year, and a good time to think back on your life. Have you gotten those
New Year's resolutions resolved? Yeah, those. If not, why not make them
your goals for 2003?
Since it is New Year's, be sure to
head on over to
Oneplace
and listen to "New Year's Eve Live!". It fits the occasion
nicely if I do say so myself.
It's the end of the year and I managed to
get two more reviews written yesterday... I'm on a ball!

Reviews
Well, I managed to finally get a review
written over the past week. It's been quite a while since I've kept up
with the Reviews section, and now I
reviewed Twisting Pathway. I'll release the review on January 11th.
Speaking of reviews, I hope to review the
rest of the episodes that I never got around to doing back when the
Novacom saga was still the trend. I'll try to have all those ready by
January 11th, but you all know how I am when it comes to reviews... I hate
writing them. Actually I do enjoy writing them when I actually do write
them, but it's a major dread in my mind. Just take a look at some reviews
of the last season and the season before if you want to see some of my
interesting thoughts... I got a little carried away on some of them. As
usual I plan on reviewing the episodes of the new season the week they
come out so that I don't have a mindful of dread like I do now.

What
Do I Look Like Now?
I'm
sure you all will be pleased to find out that I've gone ahead and updated
the About the Webmaster
section. That means that you don't have to stare at a two year-old image
that doesn't resemble me at all anymore!
Of course this means that you'll know
exactly what I look like as of September 2002, and maybe that's a bad
thing. :) For me at least. There are now three updated images of me: all
from 2000, 2001, and 2002. So if you've been wondering what I currently
look like, you may want to head over
and stare at my boring face. I guess you could just call it my
one-day-early Christmas present to all the fans!
Considering it is Christmas Eve, I
must say Merry Christmas! All through the day tomorrow, don't forget about
the true reason for Christmas: Jesus. "Born to die," as Jared
Walczak's Conservative
Journal web site puts it, and that really explains why Jesus came
to this earth. Considering that, Jesus definitely deserves a holiday for
His birthday! Merry Christmas everyone!

Town
Hall Interaction
If
you're like me, then you definitely like to interact with other AIO fans.
That is why Xhan, the Town
Hall board leader, has provided an updated and nicer system of
interacting with other fans. You can send private messages, start topics,
and talk crazily about "duckies" (don't ask me why). This new
board has a more personalized view for each member's liking. You can
customize your message board to look how you want it. Unlike the
now-closed Mole Boards, the Town Hall has a big variety of color schemes
that you may use for your personalization. The picture above is called the
"Classic" style. I use this because it has a nice design, and
also it somewhat resembles the old Mole Boards. If you aren't pleased with
the Town Hall's default design then you can choose one of your own. To
change your board style, just go to your profile and choose one under
"Board Style." I'm sure you will be pleased with the vast
variety of choices. Or if you like the current style, why change it? The
Town Hall is a nice hangout to debate, chat, and even argue, so head on
over to the Town Hall
and sign up today.

A
Bundle of Behind-the-Scenes Goodies
The Official Site has released some
behind-the-scenes information that you may be interested in reading. If
you've been wondering about what will happen in the next season, the
summary is as follows:
Odyssey residents are
dealing with the aftermath of the Novacom conspiracy in many ways. Connie
and Mitch are trying to get back to their normal life, but Mitch is faced
with new opportunities and new hardships. Whit is trying to figure out
what to do with Whit's End Connellsville and working on a secret project.
Aubrey's newfound Christianity is put to some real tests. How will it all
turn out?
Well I don't know about you, but I'm
excited to find out what's going to happen! What is this secret project of
Mr. Whittaker's?!
Also you may be interested to know that
Focus on the Family has come up with a title for album #39 which will be
released in the future. "Friends,
Family, and Countrymen" sounds like an odd title, but that's what
they currently plan on calling it. This title may change before the
release date though.
And now, it's time for our last goody.
Remember Happy
Smilers? Well if you were one of the few (maybe I'm wrong) who
enjoyed the S.M.I.L.E. Theme Song, then you're in luck. I've gotten access
to the actual lyrics to the song:
Happy, happy, happy.
We are all so happy.
We will all stay happy all the day, hey, hey, hey!
Happy, happy, happy.
Why are we so happy?
We're happy to be happy so we say!
H-A-P-P-Y! H-A-P-P-Y!
Happy happy happy happy YAY!!
Now that just makes me
feel so happy... don't you feel happy too? Also of note today (wow,
there's a lot), I finally got around to updating the sidebar on this page.
Be sure to check it out.

AIO
Artwork
If
you didn't notice above, then look to your right because the Odyssey Scoop
now has a part-time artist! You may have seen some of the artwork which
was posted at the Town Hall
message board over the past few days, a local hangout for AIO fans. The
new season of AIO is officially scheduled for January 11, 2003, and the
Scoop will have a special treat for you. On the day of the new season
opener, you'll have the opportunity to see some very creative artwork by
the Scoop's new artist, "Camacho." I can't draw, so fortunately
Camacho can. From time to time you may be surprised at what you may find
over in this new mini-section. It will be updated frequently, and you'll
have the opportunity to suggest a piece of artwork to be published!
Well now
that you're excited for all the cool artwork coming up, I guess I'll just
leave you with this... it's gonna be pretty cool. Don't miss it!

Season
Sneak Peek
The
HQ
has posted the first four titles of the new season! Here's the listing of
what will be heard:
Between
You and Me - January 11, 2003
Aubrey's
Bathrobe - January 18, 2003
The
Toy Man - January 25, 2003
For
Trying Out Loud -February 1, 2003
Just
to note... you may want to check out the sneak peek summaries at the
Soda
Fountain fan site. However, believe what you want because the
summaries that appear on the site are just a little questionable. You'll
see after reading them.
On
another note, I've finally added a new poll, which you absolutely need to
vote in above!

Chit
Chat... Was It?
Back
in the day... well actually that would be Saturday, there was another
AIO
HQ chat with yet another AIO writer. This time Torry Martin, the
creator of Wooton Bassett, showed up to answer people's questions. What
did the ask? Well find out later this week because a transcript of the
chat will be available at the HQ for all to read. I wasn't able to show up
at the chat but I'm sure I'll find out what happened soon.

I
Hate Monday
I hate Monday. I think a lot of us do.
It's just who we are. I was so bored today that I decided to listen to
"A Member of the Family" which aired the other day for a second
time in AIO history. You should like, go listen to it. It's somewhere over
there at Oneplace I think. ;)
Of course I knew that... I listen to broadcasts there quite frequently!
Other than that news, you could make your
Monday more interesting by visiting my church's brand-new website. We
released it to my church about a week ago (December 1). If you want, you
can even listen to my pastor's preaching! He's a real character! Visit
http://www.fbfchurch.org.
I'm so glad I was able to get the website finished in time for December!

Forum
Awards 3
Are you still waiting for the Forum
Awards 3? Well we may have to wait just a little longer. Jared Walczak,
the writer and picky person, has begun grading all your entrees. This is
an intense process by which Jared has a lot of writing to do. Please be
patient with Jared (I indeed had to tell myself this as well, for I am as
excited to read the critique as anyone). So Jared... hurry up!

Less
Stress
Well, today makes the official launch of
my church's web site. You can view that here
and listen to sermons as well. If you have noticed that there hasn't been
any new stuff at the Scoop, that's why. For the past three months or so I
have been working on the site which was finally released today! Now maybe
things can get back to normal around here.
As for Jared and his Forum Awards
project, I really don't know his whereabouts on the matter. Sorry for the
extra long delay. As you noticed, I archived all of
November's
updates. Like the new season logo above? I know you do... ;)
