Where's Waldo When
You Need Him?
If you're a lot like me, you like to know
things. If you're a lot like me, you want to know what's going on. And those annoying
"Where's Waldo" books don't do the trick. Right now I am talking about Eugene.
Supposedly he is a major character in the Novacom/Andromeda saga. But why haven't we heard
from him? If he's so important to the story, why haven't we heard from him.
You'd think he would at least call Whit on the telephone and have a
personal
conversation with him. What's wrong with Eugene going to a pay phone so that no one can
track his calls? What's to stop him? That question is playing out in my mind for some odd
reason. So where is Waldo when you need him? I think AIO should at least schedule
Will Ryan to come back to the show and fill in Eugene's part. After all, Eugene is
supposed to be in the Novacom/Andromeda saga! Bring him back! And whatever happened to
that Will Ryan petition? If you are interested in signing it, e-mail Trina at
trinashanks@yahoo.com.

What happened to
OdysseyRadio?
Have you been noticing lately that
OdysseyRadio's website hasn't been doing
anything? Have you been noticing that Jared's Column has stopped updating? Have you been
noticing that there is a slight change in what they're doing? If you did notice a change,
then you have good eyes because there has been a change. What is this
change? A change. A slight change. Why did OdysseyRadio change? When will OdysseyRadio go
back to their weekly programming and daily columns? When? We don't want change! We want
normalcy! Normalcy... no abnormalcy! If you're slightly confused at what I am talking
about visit OdysseyRadio's website and read
their main page to get the scoop on "the change."

Just a week ago, the
Caves of Qumran
section
opened up at the official AIO site. If you had gone
to the area called "Trailer" in that section you would have seen a notice
saying(not necessarily the same wording): "Trailer not yet available. Check back
later." But yesterday I went to the new section to have a good looking-around, and
(thank God) that trailer is now available! It's currently a download, and I'd say it gets
you pretty interested in seeing the video. I've seen the past two "New Series"
episodes and they were not as quality as older videos. The third looks like it's
possibly nicer that the first two and the cartooning is... better! Go see the trailer!
If you haven't done so yet, be sure to head
to Contests and participate in our new contest. I will accept entries until June 7, 2002.

Well, yesterday I guess I un-intentionally
lied to all of you Scoop fans, in that I mentioned that the Odyssey Scoop contest would be
next Saturday. Oops. I'm sure you'll all be very happy and pleased to find out that...
DRUMROLL... the contest starts TODAY! Head over to
Contests to see what's up and
read the rules.
If you'll notice to the left of the screen is
a greenish box. Read what's in there because I am also pleased to announce that my review
of Under the Influence
is now up. Check out the cool contest and thorough review today!

It's been a very long time since anything new
has appeared on the site, hasn't it? Nervous laughter breaks out in the head of Jacob Isom
as he tries to gain a proper and logical excuse as to why nothing is
new.
Well... if you know Jacob Isom, his updates come in spurts. And right now I guess I could
say that I haven't thought of anything new except for that tightly kept secret I mentioned
on Wednesday. Haha! You all have no hope but to wait for the new section coming up (If I
ever finish it)!
There is good news. Tomorrow you'll be seeing
my ...finally-written... review of Under the Influence. Next I'll try and review
The
Black Veil this coming week. Also there's more good news. I am planning on having a
new contest next Saturday! --Yays break out in the AIO audience--

Aside from also working on the new
Misc section I told you about yesterday, my cousin is also working on a new logo for this
site. I don't know exactly why I "need" a new logo, but hey! I'm open!
Maybe he'll come up with something interesting. I am obviously not interesting today
because I have literally nothing interesting to report. Sorry everyone. =)

I have some exciting news! I just thought of
a rather interesting section to add over in Misc. No one in the AIO world has ever
attempted to make one of these! I won't reveal anything newsworthy yet (some of you might
copy...kidding), but when the section is ready... I'll let you know! My cousin sent me a
preliminary design of what the section will look like (yes... my cousin Caleb is getting
involved, though this doesn't have anything to do with "Virtual Whit's End").
I'll keep you posted on my progress.
Tuesday, April 23, 2002
In case you haven't been aware of things
going on at the Official AIO Site, (they hardly ever have anything new), there is actually
a new section to The Caves of Qumran, the new video from FOTF. Be sure to visit
by clicking on the image below. I was surprised at the nice design of the new section!
You'll probably agree with me.

OdysseyRadio's broadcast 24 aired on
Saturday, so be sure to head over and listen in. You'll be hearing interesting clips from
The
Alan Young Show, quite and interesting listen. Well... at least it was to me! You'll
be surprised at how different Alan Young's voice actually sounded back then! You can still
hear a hint of the 2002 Jack Allen voice in his (what year was it?) 1940's voice. It's
pretty interesting if you're a Jack Allen/Alan Young fan. You can hear all this at
www.odysseyradio.com.
Do I have anymore interesting news to report?
Well, yes. AIO
Wheel of Fortune has been updated today!
Sunday, April 21, 2002
Hello everyone! Do you notice the big change
on this page? My cousin is pressuring me to change the look of my main page, so I finally
listened. Do YOU like it? I'm still not very sure about it. I really like how the
navigation bar is on this page now, but other than that, well... Just let me know at
jacob@odysseyscoop.com. I'd really appreciate
the feedback. I'll probably go back to the old look if no one likes it. I don't even like
it that much! :(
Saturday, April 20, 2002
Everyone listen up. AIO Wheel of Fortune has
officially begun! Round 10 is in session and I gave the gameboard a little different
design change! Go check it out! I got a little carried away when I designed this round.
You'll see at the end of the puzzle. :)

Reviews? What reviews? That's what I have
been forgetting to do! I have been forgetting to write my reviews! Maybe I'll get going on
those this weekend. I have two to catch up on. I have good news! AIO Wheel of Fortune
begins tomorrow!
Thursday, April 18, 2002
If you haven't scrolled completely down this
main page today, be sure and do so because I re-arranged a few things and added news about
album 38 from Focus on the Family. Also if you haven't done so yet, listen to This Site's
Little Sound Bytes now posted for a short time. I am tempted to go ahead and make that a
section in Misc and add some new clips once or twice a month. Maybe a little hello from me
or something. And maybe others can submit something too! Anyhoo, check out the cool
picture I made below. Whoa... shadows!
You know what I discovered yesterday while
listening to Odyssey? And you know how Jared Walczak lives in Pennsylvania? Well... sorry
Jared (and Pennsylvanians), Odyssey is confirmed to not being there. Why? Well go listen
to Top This and you'll see why. I'm not going to tell because Whit would make you go
research to find the answer (refer to Puns, Parables, & Perilous Predicaments for my
reasoning on that).
Wednesday, April 17,
2002
According to Jared of
www.OdysseyRadio.com in his daily post:
Ive set up a sort of Odyssey game... more difficult than AIO Wheel of Fortune, AIO
Millionaire and the old AIOHQ Weekly Quizzes combined.
Go check out Jared's new game at his site, obviously by accessing the convenient link I
just handed you above.
Tuesday, April 16, 2002
If you have been wondering about
AIO Wheel of Fortune, then yes, I will be finishing up the designing of Round 10 tomorrow
evening... I hope. :) It takes quite a bit of patience to come up with a round!
Monday, April 15, 2002
Hey everyone. I guess it's once
again one of those days because I haven't an ounce of information to report! Check back
tomorrow.
Sunday, April 14, 2002
Oops... I forgot to upload my
update yesterday. Oh well. Go read it. Anything interesting going on at other AIO sites?
None that I can notice. Bother. It's just one of those times that nothing is happening in
the AIO world. Maybe I'll actually have something to say in tomorrow's post! :)
Saturday, April 13, 2002
I have good news! Yesterday I
was feeling pretty bad (refer to yesterday's update) and had nothing to do, so I decided
to get going on AIO Wheel of Fortune. So I did. I have the puzzle ready, but the actual
update for everyday is in the works. At the top of this screen is a note that reveals the
date of round 10's appearance. This Saturday! Mark your calendars! This is perhaps one of
the biggest puzzles I have come up with so far. You'll see what I mean on Saturday when
the game begins.
Saturday, April 13, 2002
I have a really bad headache today and don't really feel like updating. There's my update.
:( Things should be back to normal tomorrow.
Friday, April 12, 2002
As you may have noticed, this
page you are reading now (if you look below) has been updated with "This Site's
Little Sound Bytes." If you've ever heard them why not get the chance to listen
again! If you're new since November or later then be sure to listen to the four sound
clips below. The first and fourth one are the most interesting, in my opinion.
Not that exciting news to report for today. Except if you're bored enough you can go to
our Links page and you'll notice that I updated the link for OdysseyRadio. They just went
through a logo change by me... :) Go check it out if you're that bored.
Thursday, April 11, 2002
Hey, didn't I just talk about
OdysseyRadio yesterday? Well I am again today. Yesterday was yet a very special broadcast
titled, Odyssey Sci-fi: Looking into the Black Veil. What episode is this? 23? No? Be sure
to point your browser to OdysseyRadio! Also there is OR's new logo, created by me! I'm
just so proud of myself for making such a cool look! Actually I'm not that proud... but it
just sounds fun to say. :) Go check it out. I get a little too happy when I make logos
andgraphics for people... and me! :)
Wednesday, April 10,
2002
Visit OdysseyRadio's site this
week because broadcast 22 has aired! This week there will be a special episode about
"The Black Veil" in which all are welcome to contribute on such a short notice.
Also be sure to give the Soda Fountain a good visit. Switchflood has been reviewing
episodes with the new season! I hope to have a new round of AIO Wheel of Fortune up and
finished by the end of the weekend. I'll probably announce when the actual round 10
begins. Keep your fingers crossed!
Tuesday, April 9, 2002
AIO Wheel of Fortune ended
today! Be sure to check out who the winners are! If you haven't won at all yet, keep
trying. You never know what will happen. YOU may win! Click here to see AIO WOF. Since so
many people have BUGGED me and NAGGED me to reveal the puzzle to them each and every
round, I will have to reply to all your pestering with a new page added to AIO WOF. It's a
NO page. I will make it soon. It will be called the AIO WOF Code of Conduct with
"MY" rules and how "I" conduct myself during each round. One of those
rules includes NOT revealing anything to ANY player. Sorry guys... you'll just have to be
patient! =) I love doing that... =)
Monday, April 8, 2002
Are you interested in the new
cover for September's AIO release, "Battle Lines?" Well if you are, a
preliminary mock-up version of the to-be artwork is posted over at www.TommyNelson.com.
Note that preliminary means that there will be a better version for the final copy when
it's released by Focus on the Family. I haven't checked yet, but there also may be a
different version over at www.ChristianBook.com. Don't quote me on that. :)
Were you
pleased with The Black Veil? At first I wasn't (refer to yesterday's update), but after
listening to the episode a second time I wasn't judging it as much. How about you? Try
listening again... maybe you'll change your mind if you are one of the few who think it's
too sci-fi.

Tsk... Tsk...
Tsk... my server
is being really annoying again. Don't ya hate it when you just wrote some probing thoughts
for the day on your website and you can't even upload it? That's what happened to me
yesterday. So follow your eyes down to yesterday's update as well as today's. Because of
the server trouble, AIO WOF wasn't updated either. Be sure to check it out. In other news,
what did you think of The Black Veil part one? I didn't particularly enjoy it as I thought
I would because I am getting the assumption that mind control is the deal here, and I know
about miind control. It is impossible!!! It is possible to brainwash and hypnotize someone
though. Maybe it's a matter of hypnotization. Hmm... what do you think?
Saturday, April 6, 2002
Well in case you were wondering
if I made it through the 30 Hour Famine I mentioned on the site yesterday, I did! Yay! It
wasn't really that hard once day two came into session. If you ever plan on fasting for a
period of time you must keep in mind that it isn't just an appreciating what we have sort
of deal. The main reason for fasting is to dedicate some extra time to the Lord, praying
constantly and unceasingly. In the time that you fast, pray to Jesus and thank Him for
what He's done for you on the cross. Tell Him you love Him. And remember, fasting is also
a way of figuring out God's will. P.U.S.H. "Pray Until Something Happens."
Fasting is a very useful tool that has been used over the years.
Friday, April 5,
2002
If you are an AIO WOF
participant be sure to check out the moving message above. If you missed it just refresh
the page. I'm hungry already! Help! How am I going to survive thirty hours of fasting?
Someone help me! Anyway, that's just about the only news for me today. I hope to post my
review (tomorrow? Yeah right...) as soon as possible. I still have to write part two. AIO
WOF is updated.
Thursday, April 4,
2002
Well, my explanation to what
happened yesterday. Um... I discovered that I am not very good at HTML. Until I get some
help on this issue, what I said yesterday during yesterday's post (well... duh...) will
never come true. My program is being an annoying freak of nature, so to speak, and I have
tried everything to get the blinking navigation bar to work. I have been proven
unsuccessful. Maybe at a later time things will reveal themselves to me. Grrr!! If you
have had any experience with web-design and/or HTML, you have probably realized that it's
annoying at times. This is one of those times. Hmm... maybe Jared Walczak could help me.
AIO WOF is updated with a new navigation bar by the way. One that DOESN'T blink! :(
Wednesday, April 3,
2002
If you haven't noticed, there
are a few new things on the site. Very minor things, but new just the same. Not only has
round 9 of AIO WOF begun, but I have changed some of the features of AIO WOF. I have made
a navigation bar with access to all previous rounds of WOF so you can get to them easier.
You could have gotten to them through the Misc section, but hey! I'm in a generous mood
today. Also at the top of this screen is a new picture to let you know when AIO WOF is
updated. Every day it will say "Day...", with today being Day 2. Duh... you get
the idea. I finally figured out how to make rollover buttons for my website (thanks to
DrBlackgaard... even though I ended up not needing his advice), so I thought of an idea.
Why not redo the current navigation bar on the other pages? Soon you'll be experiencing
the Scoop's navigation bar to its fullest! Actually it isn't that exciting... check out
Day 2 of WOF by clicking on the link above.
Tuesday, April 2,
2002
If you haven't noticed today...
AIO Wheel of Fortune round 9 has finally begun! Remember last time I accidentally did a
little blooper? Well I took the advantage of doublechecking and you know what? Yes, I am
smarter this time because I doublechecked until my heart's content. I found some positive
results. Yippee! There are no errors, bloopers, etc! Maybe I should have saved round 8 for
yesterday because of April Fool's Day. No matter... so go and see AIO Wheel of Fortune by
clicking on the link (you know, the picture of the wheel above?), or just

Welcome to April everyone! Boy
the time goes fast! Yesterday I went ahead and archived all posts from March. Also
yesterday I took the liberty of designing a new theme for the page that USED to have daily
updates. You remember, the one with all the bubbles on it? That's the one. So go there and
see, or just click on the "more..." below the third entry below. I gave it an
"April-esk" look. Like it? I know, I do have no life whatsoever. Sadly I am back
at school continuing that "no life." Anway, speaking of the new theme, go there.
Wait... I said that. =) OdysseyRadio broadcast #21 aired at odysseyradio.com if you're
interested. I found a blooper. Joshua mentions that it is broadcast 22. WRONG! It's
broadcast #21! Check it out at that site soon!
