February 2002

Is it already the last day of
February? Wow, the time really moves by! Today is my sister's kinda birthday. Huh? If you
are wondering "Huh?" be sure to head over to find out what I mean over at
Webmaster today. The
answer is SOMEWHERE there. Don't worry! Here's a hint: there is no tomorrow.
I'll be archiving all February
posts sometime in my next update. =0) Where does the time go?
Wednesday,
February 27, 2002
If you haven't yet read
yesterday's update for the day please do so. Some of you may be interested after reading.
The opening day of AIO Wheel of
Fortune round 8 is scheduled for March 2nd! Unfortunately I haven't even designed it yet!
But don't worry... I'll make sure it's finished before this Saturday. All will work
according as planned. If you haven't already noticed, Odyssey Radio won't be updating for
most of the rest of this week. Why? Well if you receive their newsletter over email then
you already know. But if you don't... let's just say that Jared Walczak found out that his
website files were corrupted (unopenable and/or usable). Odyssey Radio should be up by
this Saturday if all goes well.

Today I just had an idea. Soon
I'll be offering anyone who wants to the opporunity to RUN a section of this website! What
section will that be? If you are thinking that question, I'm sorry to announce that I am
going to have to make everyone wait until Saturday when I post all the information. Of
course you'll have to meet all the requirements and such, but that shouldn't be too hard
if you're a webmaster. If you would like to ask me anything throughout the week my
screenname is BubbaSerbunty. You won't necessarily need the program I use for The Scoop,
but I have to approve of the design you tinker with. More info Saturday...

I have no school today, so I
thought I would go ahead and update a little early today. It's interesting what I found
out today! If you have ever heard the "Left Behind" dramas or "Down Gilead
Lane," you may have noticed that the guy who plays Nicolae Carpathia also plays Mr.
Morrison on "Down Gilead Lane." It's also interesting because the actress who
plays Rayford Steele's wife also plays Mrs. Morrison on DGL! It's rather interesting to
see that both characters of DGL are on the "Left Behind" dramas. If you have
never heard the "Left Behind" dramas, I would highly suggest listening sometime.
The theme song gets rather annoying at times, but the show really makes you think! You may
even recognize that two or three of the AIO production crew are involved with those
dramas!

This may seem rather strange to
you, but right now I am attempting to send a sound byte to Jared Walczak of
OdysseyRadio, and when I was typing up this update
I struggled to do so because my Juno program (available
at Juno.com) doesn't allow you to do anything else while waiting for the files to send, so
here I was trying to type around that annoyance... kinda breaking the rules. You can to an
extent. And I have no idea why I just rambled about that!
On another note, be sure to cast
your vote in the 2001 Season awards at either the
Soda Fountain or the
AIO HQ. The new season begins on March 23, 2002 with
"Under the Influence" I and II. It sure will be an exciting conclusion! Man,
I'll have to keep track of more reviews! Lots of work! It's worth it because you guys (and
gals) get to read them!
Saturday,
February 23, 2002
Be sure to head on over to the
Soda Fountain today because the season awards are being held! You can also vote at the AIO
HQ. I had hoped to put up some interviews today, but it looks as if my idea is vanquished.
In other words, I couldn't get motivated like I usually do. Listen to Odyssey Radio today!
And WATCH!
Friday,
February 22, 2002
Is it really already time for
Odyssey Radio broadcast 17? How exciting! And I DO mean exciting. Be sure to listen and
WATCH the show tomorrow over at www.odysseyradio.com!
They're going graphic, if you will.
I am thinking about working on
the interviews page tonight sometime.
Thursday,
February 21, 2002
What happened to the Town Hall?
Barely anyone is posting messages! Where did everyone go? Be sure to stop by and start a
topic sometime. Definitely worth checking out. I hope to post some new interviews
Saturday!
Wednesday,
February 20, 2002
Today I made a few last-minute
graphics for Odyssey Radio. I just love making graphics! Not that you care or anything...
I don't really have any new AIO
info today. Maybe tomorrow.
Tuesday,
February 19, 2002
Wow! The Soda Fountain website
is really looking good! If you haven't had a chance to see the new site opening be sure to
head to the new link provided at our main page. I hope to catch up my interviews this week
and get those up this Saturday.
Monday,
February 18, 2002
If you haven't noticed, the Soda
Fountain is opening up again! On our main page you may find the link. Be sure and support
Shadowpaw's work! His website is great and his many FAQ questions about Novacom...etc. are
really great!
Sunday,
February 17, 2002
Just to remind everyone, The
Soda Fountain website re-opens tomorrow after being closed for approximately a year. Be
sure to visit Shadowpaw's new link: which you may find on my main page.
Saturday,
February 16, 2002
Today I have a few new things
for you, including a new Extra Extra! See the main page by clicking on the link above to
see what's new at the site.
Speaking of the main page, I
re-arranged it a bit since last week. See if you can find a notice about the Soda
Fountain!
Be sure to listen to
OdysseyRadio #16 today at www.odysseyradio.com.
You can also access the page by clicking on the icon on the bottom of the main page.
Joshua Shelly is back and has his own daily column now!
Friday,
February 15, 2002
I think I am in need of a break
from review-writing. I am weary on stopping for a while because I'll just have to catch up
later... so I'll probably continue. I am thinking about catching up on the two reviews I
have been supposed to be writing... tonight. You might see them up tomorrow.
Speaking of things being up
tomorrow, Odyssey Radio is now going visual. Listen and WATCH at odysseyradio.com
tomorrow! Next week you'll be seeing some of my graphics design up on the program. Jared
was the only guy contributing graphics this week.
Thursday,
February 14, 2002
Man! Was I worried! For the past
two days my doggy was at the vet's office getting a surgery because something went wrong.
Thank God she's okay and finally home!
On an AIO note, the talk of the
town is that Focus on the Family MAY be releasing a double album set dedicated to Novacom
and the Novacom saga. I personally think that it will be a waste and most likely there
will be more bloopers on the albums. What do you think?
Wednesday,
February 13, 2002
This just in! Odyssey Radio
broadcast 16 will be visual! That means the show will be more interesting. From episode 17
and on I will be Jared's graphics designer. More life will be added to the show! Don't
miss OR number 16 this weekend at odysseyradio.com!
Tuesday,
February 12, 2002
Well, AIO Wheel of Fortune has
now ended. Be sure to head over to see who won. When should I hold the next round?
Anytime's fine with me, but if you want it NOW please e-mail me and I might get in the
mood to start designing round 8. I need a little coaxing!
Good news! The Soda Fountain
website will be opening soon! Be sure to head on over soon. You can go to the normal link
from our links page, but at the site you will be notified to link to another page. The
site opening doesn't have a specific date, but Shadowpaw wants the word to spread. It's
finally coming back!
What do you think of our new
"Enter the Site" and "Daily Updates" buttons? I thought it was time
for a change. Some people were emailing me to come up with a better, less confusing way to
enter. Now it will be easier!
Monday,
February 11, 2002
It's very odd! Yesterday I
attempted to listen to "The Popsicle Kid" at oneplace.com and couldn't seem to
pay attention! Maybe it's the new characters... maybe the acting... maybe it's just the
story! Try listening to it! I sure hope that YOU can pay attention and actually enjoy the
show. For my thoughts on the show head over to Reviews to see what I think. That's my
exciting input for today. I'll get back to you. AIO WOF is OVER! Go see the winners!
Sunday,
February 10, 2002
What is wrong with me? Yesterday
I spent an hour writing a new Extra Extra that ended up being pretty strange. I hope you
all will be able to survive it next Saturday on the site! I just can't believe that I
wrote it! All I'll say now is it's called "Not All of Them." Very strange
article! AIO WOF is updated.
Saturday,
February 9, 2002
If you haven't heard "Plan
B: Crossfire" yet, be sure to hear it sometime this week! It's a very emotional
episode, and I don't think anyone should miss it. Today we have a rather small update for
you. Head to our main page to see what all the new stuff is. AIO Wheel of Fortune
continues as well!
Friday,
February 8, 2002
Will I have some new stuff on
the site tomorrow? As of now I'm not really sure. For some reason I never really got
around to writing a review of last week's episode, so I am kinda wavering on a decision.
Although I DO have some AIO FAQ questions that I just received, so I may end up answering
those. Let's hope! AIO Wheel of Fortune is updated.
Thursday,
February 7, 2002
Wow! Could it be true? The
"Blackgaard's Castle" fansite is now having a weekly newsletter you can sign up
for? If so, then... can you sign up! Sure, that's what it's there for! Head on over to
www.aiobc.com to get in on the news, updates, and more. Be
sure to sign up before you leave.
Is it really Thursday? We only
have two more days until we find out more exciting information on Odyssey! Be sure to
listen. AIO WOF is updated.
Wednesday,
February 6, 2002
So... have you seen our new
animated logo yet? If you haven't seen it yet then be sure to head on over to the main
page to see (link is at top of page). I was rather bored today and thought, "Hey!
I'll make a new logo!" Not that it's new or anything. I just thought I would refresh
the old logo. Hmmm... the logo isn't THAT old, is it? It's new as of September or October
2001. Be sure to head over to OdysseyRadio.com to listen to broadcast 14 if you haven't
already. The AIO HQ has some cool stuff (reviews) if you haven't read them yet.
AIO Wheel of Fortune is updated!
Tuesday,
February 5, 2002
A new "Adventures in
Odyssey" book series hits the bookstores this summer! Remember when we took a vote at
the official site on what the new series would be? Well... your votes worked because this
summer you'll be reading some adapted AIO mysteries! Be sure to head to
www.tommynelson.com and head to the AIO section.
There's a few categories to choose from. Choose the one that mentions mysteries. AIO WOF
is once again updated!
Monday,
February 4, 2002
Have I written my review of
"Collision Course" yet? No. Do I plan to? Yes. Man, lately I have been having to
write a lot of reviews! At least I enjoy doing so! If you would ever be interested in
writing a review for this site, head over to Misc and click on "Fans' Reviews."
I'm sure you'll figure out what to do from there. Or if you would enjoy writing an Extra
Extra, just email me at jacob@odysseyscoop.com.
We'll work out the details. AIO Wheel of Fortune is updated today.
Sunday,
February 3, 2002
Wow! If you happened to hear
"Plan B: Missing in Action," then you'll wanna know what other fans' opinions
are! Head over to the Town Hall. It's lighting up like a Christmas tree! That's what I
love about Saturdays. It usually happens like that.
I updated Day Two of AIO Wheel
of Fortune.
Saturday,
February 2, 2002
Could it possibly be true? Could
what happened to Mitch in "Collision Course" be true? Or is there some deeper
plot? I am just glad to find out who AREM is, and what AREM stands for! Be sure to listen
at oneplace.com! One of the best episodes this season!
I am happy to inform you all
that my review of last week's Plan B episode is now up on the site along with AIO Wheel of
Fortune. Sorry it took me so long to get it up on the site today.
Friday,
February 1, 2002
Well, I have now archived all of
January 2002's updates! Be sure to catch up on your reading at the Archives link below if
you haven't gotten a chance to read some recent updates.
Speaking of updates, guess what
begins tomorrow?! AIO Wheel of Fortune conveniently begins tomorrow, along with my new
review of "Plan B: Missing in Action" hitting the web!
What do you think of my February
look? Be sure to chat with me online at my screenname some time:
