The End is
Nigh
So after five years of college
studies, cramming for tests, and getting through graphic
design projects galore, I'm finally down to my last project
of my undergrad life. I gave my advertising campaign
presentation for my fictitious Barista Coffee Company this
morning and it went extremely well. Tomorrow I have a
presentation, though it's far from stressful like the
campaign was. Today I had the pleasure of running into one
of the Scoop website visitors, Mike, who I met five years
ago at PCC. We've occasionally said hi for the past few
years since the campus gets smaller every day. And as these
last days approach, it's going to get busy with final exams
and convocation activities. But that's okay. I've done it
way too many times.
When I get home, I'll probably
get some things on the site updated that I've been meaning
to get updated for a very long time.

Reviews of AIO
Live
On
Wednesday, the
Unofficial Podcast posted their review of
Adventures in Odyssey
Live! along with a sample video slide show
clip. If you're one who likes to know exactly what you're
getting before you make purchases, you won't want to miss
out on this review as well as the information provided on
our
product page.
Also, yesterday, the
Ceiling Fan podcast reviewed the product as well in
audio format. Both reviews by the Unofficial Podcast and
Ceiling Fan are well worth the time for sure.
In other news, Focus on the
Family Radio Theatre's Screwtape Letters is expected
for an October 2009 release. I'm a huge Radio Theatre fan,
as many of you probably are as well. Now, if we can just
convince Focus to continue making shows at full force
again...

The Official Podcast
#67

In the third-ever
Adventures in Odyssey video podcast, Bob and Jesse take a
tour of what's happening in the Odyssey Team's offices.
Today is definitely a day you
won't want to miss out on the latest edition of the
Official Podcast. In their 67th edition, you'll get
to see (yes, see!) the behind-the-scenes team that brings Adventures in Odyssey to life, from Dave Arnold to Paul
McCusker to several others. In their third video podcast
ever, Bob and Jesse lead you through the halls at Focus on
the Family and give us a sneak peek into the new Passages
audio drama which is currently in the production stages.
You'll even get to hear a sneak peek. We'll also get to hear
a little bit about the production of album 51, which begins
airing next spring. A lot is going on at Odyssey, even
though it may not seem like it. Even Focus on the Family
Radio Theatre is picking up some attention, but I'll let
you find out for yourself. There's even more to the video
podcast I haven't mentioned, so don't miss out on the latest
video
podcast from
Adventures in Odyssey!

The Unofficial
Podcast
There's been some speculation
on the
Town of Odyssey
message boards lately regarding the
future of John Avery Whittaker and whether or not the actor
will be replaced in the coming days. Since there have been
no new episodes, fans have been keeping their eyes
especially tuned to their browsers to learn all the AIO news
they can. While I have no official news to report to you
today, you may find
this thread interesting over at everyone's favorite
message boards. It's all up in the air at this point, but
that's part of the fun of interacting with other fans about
Adventures in Odyssey. And as Chris would say, "Keep
listening." And if you ask me if I know anything about Whit,
I'll just tell you the same thing.

The Unofficial
Podcast
Not much is happening around
the AIO news realm lately. The
Unofficial Podcast did release their 54th podcast
several days ago, however. This time we get to hear another
roundtable discussion between Chris, Catspaw, and Boswell.
Listen to them as they talk about Odyssey as only the fans
can.
As for me, I'm rounding the
corner to graduation in less than three weeks. I absolutely
can't wait. All that's left on my plate is a direct mail
piece to design and an advertising campaign presentation in
the coming days. The end is certainly in sight!
