Jeff
Cunningham
one
of the first fan interviews ever conducted!
Share
with us a little about your experience in the website business.
I am really webmaster of many sites,
and quite a few of them are Odyssey-centered sites. The one I am most known for is The
Ultimate Adventures in Odyssey site. I have also had the idea and design for
Factsbuffet.com, and I am now working on a new AIO site, The OdyDb.
How long have you been a fan of
Adventures in Odyssey?
From the first time I got involved
with Phil Lollar in Odyssey. That was back in 1996 sometime.
What is your favorite episode
of all time?
I don't think any true AIO fan can
have a favorite. One of them would have to be "The Time Has Come," "The
Last Great Adventure of the Summer," "A Name, Not A Number," and the entire
"Darkness Before Dawn" album. As you can see, I can't have one favorite when it
comes to AIO. (smiles) = )
What is your favorite
Adventures in Odyssey Website?
I am probably not really sure. I love
each AIO site out there. Because I am a professional web designer, I like each of them. I
just found this site today, and now I must say it's one of my favorites. Others would
include AIO HQ, UAIO, Factsbuffet, and the new site I am working on, The OdyDb.
If you could meet one actor,
who would it be?
I have talked (typed) to almost all of
the AIO staff team from one time to the other. I never really thought about it. Most
actors are normal people anyway, so it isn't much of a big deal. I would always like to
interview top actors like Harrison Ford, Sly Stallone, etc. I can't name one.
Which character do you think
you resemble the most?
Most people would say that I resemble
Alex Jefferson, but he was sort of modeled after me. Although, I can see some of the
things of Alex in me. I would have to say that it's young Jason Whittaker in a way. I kind
of have a wreckless streak to me.
Who is your favorite character?
Probably Richard Maxwell, which is
also another character that resembles me in a way.
What do you think I need to
change about my website?
Nothing really. As another webmaster,
just keep some cool updates often, and everything will fall into place. Great job! Love
the site!
If you had one wish for
Odyssey, what would it be?
Probably that I could write a few
episodes for it. I love scriptwriting!
How do you imagine Whit's End
and the town of Odyssey?
I have a vision of it all in my head.
Very well vision. In fact, when I write my script and get stuck, I close my eyes, and walk
through Odyssey, talk to Whit and the gang, and then I get something more for my script.
What do you enjoy about making
Odyssey websites?
I love AIO, I love website creating. I
just really like it, and love doing it for other people. The thing that drives me nuts is
that I can never seem to update my website, which is the only thing I don't like that much
about my site.
What is your favorite section
of whitsend.org, the official site?
Soda Fountain, because it's updated
the most, probably.
What is your favorite section
of the Odyssey Scoop, my website?
The actors section. I have been
meaning to do a page like that for a while, very nice!
Do you have any comments,
questions, or suggestions about me or my website?
How long did it take you to put
together this site? It's great! Keep up the good work. I like interviews,
so thanks for putting this on the site, and as always...have fun!
Our
Response: Thank
you! Actually I began the website around the end of December 2000, and didn't make it
public until around January when stuff was actually worth seeing. Pretty soon I had a cool
navigation bar, now I have an improved one. Glad you like the site!
