Who is your favorite character of all time and why?

Definitely Dr. Regis Blackgaard. I if you want to know why just listen to "Waylaid in Windy City" Parts 1 & 2, "The Nemesis" Parts 1 & 2, "The Battle" Parts 1 & 2, or just about any episode in the "Darkness Before Dawn" album! Whenever you hear his voice while he's talking about some sinister plot that he's found himself in the middle of, you almost start shivering! :)

 

Which character do you resemble the most and why?

Jason. If there wasn't a Dr. Blackgaard then Jason would definitely be my favorite character, and I think that I resemble him in quite a few ways from his love for adventure and excitement, to his lack of patience in waiting for Jack to change things around Whit's End, to his scrapping with Jana (who seems to be quite a bit like my sister).

 

What is your favorite episode of all time and why?

Waylaid in Windy City. What is there not to like about it? It has a good storyline, it's filled with great actors, it has plenty of excitement, and it's talking about a stolen laptop computer! How could it get better?!?

 

What is your favorite AIO website and why?

Probably the AIO HQ, www.AIOHQ.com, because it has the best, most recent, most reliable, most up-to-date information on Odyssey.

 

If you had one wish for AIO, what would it be?

That the AIO writers could come up with a real true to life way to bring Dr. Blackgaard back, and that they would use him as the villain again, maybe alongside with Novacom. Though, if the way in which they brought him back was like a soap opera, I think that he would be better off dead.

 

What is your favorite part of Adventures in Odyssey?

Hmm... That's a hard question to answer... I think I would have to say that what I like most is the way that they (the writers and actors) can make a production for ALL ages, you can listen and learn a lot whether you're 2 or 92.

 

Would you ever consider working with AIO and why?

Sure! Working at AIO has always been one of my dreams :) Though I doubt that it will ever happen, since I'm not a very good writer, and I'm terrible at voice acting... But who knows? I might get stuck in the back of the office to fix their machines! Someone has to do it! Actually fixing machines might not be that bad, since that's what I seem to be best at.

How do you imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?

I imagine it as a very quiet town, one that most anybody would give 1,000,000 to be able to move to... Something else also struck me as I was listening to an AIO tape the other day... Odyssey is a town full of people "who don't want the town to become all glass and chrome." It's a town that isn't full of the new huge sky scrapers, it's full of caring people that would rather loose money then loose good morals.

OUR RESPONSE: I actually kind of wonder about that! Now that Novacom has entered Odyssey and is here to stay, what happened to that quote? Tom just sort of shoved it off in "Opportunity Knocks" when he let them build a very tall radio tower at the edge of town. Hmm...There are a lot of contradictions on AIO recently that were set down soild way back when in Odyssey.

 

Out of the albums, books, and videos, what do you like best?

I like Album 5, Album 10, and Album 25 the best. Because they all have Dr. Blackgaard in them.

 

What do you think I should change about my website?

I can't really think of anything! You've done a GREAT job on this site, all that I could suggest is that you get a really nice domain name like... odysseyscoop.com.

 

What is one interview question that you would add to this?

I think that it's about the right length already, but if you were to add one, I would add "If you could add one character to Odyssey, what would he/she be like?"

 

Who is your favorite actor on Adventures in Odyssey?

Will Ryan, as Eugene, Harlow Doyle, Officer O-Ryan, and Officer Harley (to name only a few).

 

Which actor would you want to meet the most?

Alan Young; He always reminded me of someone that would be very easy to talk to.
