Travis

How long have you been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey?

Pretty much all of my life, I suppose. My family has always listened casually to it, whenever we could catch it on the radio, but I never really started listening until a few years ago. Now I listen to every episode! Adventures in Odyssey is my favorite radio show ever!

What is your favorite episode of all time?

Hidden in My Heart. At least, so far, since I haven't nearly heard all of them yet. I listened to it from the AIO Podcast. About five times. I even found the script on the Whit's End website and am trying to convince my youth group to perform it.

What is your favorite AIO web site?

I'm not sure... I like the Odyssey Scoop so far, from what I've seen of it it's pretty good and it seems to be updated more than some, but I also like the Soda Fountain a lot. It would be hard to choose. I think, though, the Scoop is my favorite.

If you could meet one actor, who would you meet and why?

Katie Leigh, because Connie is one of my favorite characters, and one that I can relate to a lot.

Which character do you resemble the most and why?

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking perhaps Wooton... :D He is a very happy and... eccentric person, kind of like me!
Either that or Lucy Cunningham-Schultz, because we both like to write, have inquisitive natures, and are goody-two-shoes.

Who is your favorite character and why?

The same answer as above; either Wooton or Lucy, for the same reasons as above: I am a lot like both of them, kind of put together. I also like Eugene, Connie, and (of course) Whit. I am the kind of person who can never totally decide on favorites, by the way. In case you didn't notice.

In your opinion, what do I need to change about my website?

Fix the links on the home page that don't work, and put up more contests!

If you could change anything about AIO, what would it be and why?

I would bring back some of the older characters... as adults or older kids, if I had too. I would at least like to find out what happened to them, maybe hear from some of them (especially Lucy and Oscar) in a few episodes. Maybe a "Live at 25!" 25-years-in-the-future-style episode where we meet the kids of the older kids from Odyssey past.

How do you imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?

A small-ish town that's fairly busy but not rushing. It has that "small-town innocence" that I seem to recall hearing someone say about it before. It has very green grass with several hills, and you can see a few mountains in the distance. There are a lot of trees. Whit's End is a large building, bigger than the one that you see on the video series, and it doesn't look that old, but it has the feel of an old house that has been restored and turned into something new. It has lots of windows, and is full of many rooms, some quite large.

If you had your own AIO site, what would you put on it?

I probably wouldn't put extensive lists of all of the episodes on it, since that's been done on most AIO sites and I would probably just refer visitors to one of them. Not that I suggest that for your site, of course. (I'm not sure if the Scoop has a list, though, I haven't looked.) Anyway, I would have a section for people to write their own Odyssey episodes and put them on the site, and maybe even record them with their friends or something.

What is your favorite section of whitsend.org?

That part that lists all of the episodes and gives full reviews of them... that's so handy as it often tells me enough about an episode to let me figure it out, since I haven't heard quite a few of them.

What is your favorite section of the Odyssey Scoop, my site?

Miscellaneous. I especially like "Where Odyssey is Not". I really do think it's in Ohio.

Do you have any last comments, questions, or suggestions?

I really like your website! But, I am wondering how Mr. Whittaker got involved in the National Security Agency. I'm sure it's in some episode (I hope), but as I said, I haven't heard many of them.

Our Response: That's a very good question, Travis! I'm surprised that AIO hasn't delved into that part of Whit's past... yet. Hopefully if one of the team members reads this, they'll get the hint and get inspired?
