How long have you been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey?

Oh wow well for a really long time. We found it at this Christian library and I looked at it and I said okay that's nice, something to listen to... My sister was the one who listened to the first episode-I forgot what it was called. It's when Robyn Jacobs goes into the imagination station when she isn't supposed to and get in trouble. That was maybe 5 or 6 years ago and I've been listening to Odyssey ever since!

 

What is your favorite episode of all time?

Haha.... I really hate this question because I never know how to answer it. I bet when I've sent in this interview I'll be like oh THAT's one of my favorite episodes, and THAT, sigh, why didn't I think of that before??? But anyways, in general I like the episodes like the Novacom Saga and the one when they introduced Lester (who is by the way one of my favorite characters now) episodes that leave you hanging and have a LOT of mystery. Those are DEFINITELY the best!!!!!

 

What is your favorite AIO web site?

I guess pretty much this one and whitsend.org. I don't know of any others.

 

If you could meet one actor, who would you meet and why? 

You know I was thinking about the actors a while back Katie Leigh, Will Ryan, and I was like they play such young characters but they're so old. Like, not in a mean way but they've got such good voices for the character they play and it's just really surprising that there is quite an age difference. Interesting. Anyways back to the question. I don't really know which specific one I'd like to meet because I don't exactly know the actor but I would have really loved to meet Walker Edmiston (did I spell that right?) because he is just awesome and he had an amazing voice. If I had to meet one alive today according to their character it would be Wooton!!! I think everyone knows why!!!!! He's great!

 

Which character do you resemble the most and why?

I was thinking now that I'm 15 I'm almost the same age as Connie but I'm definitely not like her even though she is awesome... well I think I'm the most like Katrina.

In your opinion, what do I need to change about my website?

Well I don't think you need to change anything. You could add more features, and update the newsletter please... =) but that's it I think!

 

If you could change anything about AIO, what would it be and why? 

I can't think of anything specific I'd want to change at the moment...

 

How do you imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?

I imagine it to be really small because everyone in odyssey seems to know each other.... a lot of mismatched colored houses...I don't know. It's kinda hard answering this question because I think of Odyssey according to the people not according to the town itself. I guess in general how I imagine odyssey is that it has a LOT of awesome people in it!!!

 

If you had your own AIO site, what would you put on it?

I'd like to have a section where the odyssey characters are taped recording an episode because it would be really interesting to watch. I always wanted to watch something like that cuz it sounds like they have a lot of fun. I'm sure it can be done somehow. And maybe a section where u can play games maybe.

 

What is your favorite section of whitsend.org?

The section where you can go to oneplace.com and listen to Odyssey!!!

 

What is your favorite section of the Odyssey Scoop, my site? 

Definitely the pictures of the actors. I'm so glad that I saw those they were really interesting because I'd never seen pictures of any one of them before. Thanks a lot!! There are other parts of this site I really like but I can't think of them at the moment.

 

Do you have any last comments, questions, or suggestions?

I don't know if it's just my cassette player acting up but EVERY TIME when I listen to the Eternal Birthday in the beginning when her mother says "rise and shine" and in all the other "beginnings in the morning of her birthday" I can heard this guy in the background saying something. What is he saying??? What are the writers going to do now that Walker has passed away? Are they going to try and find a replacement? What state is odyssey in? What state do the actors record in? is it California? I know I'll think of other questions later on. Any other way I can ask them here and get them answered?

Our Response: Slow down, Lisa! You should be visiting the AIO F.A.Q. section for some of the answers! As for "Eternal Birthday," that's a good question. You should try asking the producers that question for a future Q&A podcast. As for Walker Edmiston, we'll see in the days ahead. The team is working through the issue, but details will not be revealed until the time comes. Odyssey is in Ohio. A lot of people believe that. They've never actually confirmed that, but we're allowed to believe it if we want. Have you seen our Where Odyssey is Not section? It might give you some clues. Your final question is easy to answer. California is your answer.
