How long have you been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey?

I have been a fan of AIO for about 5 years. My aunt introduced them to me and i lived them. I know am the proud owner of every AIO numerical album and a few of the classics albums. Odyssey has been a blessing to me the past few years.

 

What is your favorite episode of all time?

Well I have different categories for favorites. I mean, how can you have 1 favorite out of over 600 episodes? One episode (actually 3) that will always be special is for Whom the Wedding Bells Toll 1,2, & 3. I also really like a Rathbone of contention, A license to drive, A worker approved, and Poor Loser. I also really like the Bernard and Eugene go to California saga and the Blackgaard saga.

 

What is your favorite AIO web site?

Well, I really enjoy the Odyssey Scoop (of course : ), the Soda Fountain, and the Town of Odyssey. The Odyssey Library is very resourceful when it comes to looking up information on Odyssey.

 

If you could meet one actor, who would you meet and why? 

If I could meet one actress it would be Katie Leigh. She has just spoken about how much God is a part of her life and how Odyssey has really touched her. She has also been there since the beginning and I think its awesome she has stuck with them so long. If I could meet one actor it would be Dave Madden. I just love the character of Bernard and it seems to me that Dave has a lot of Bernard's characteristics and personality. Somehow I think it would be really fun to meet him!

 

Which character do you resemble the most and why?

I think I resemble Donna Barclay the most. She was a pastor's kid (like me) and tried very hard to live a good life but messed up occasionally. I think the episode Preachers Kid brought that out in her the most and I saw myself in her.

 

Who is your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Bernard. I love his sarcasm and Eeyore like nature. I especially love it when he and Eugene get together. You're always in for a funny episode when those two are around.

 

In your opinion, what do I need to change about my website?

The only thing i think you need to change would be t update it more frequently. I do understand you have a life outside of this though, so its understandable if you don't have time.

 

If you could change anything about AIO, what would it be and why? 

I would change the style of writing that has become since their hiatus. Things seemed to change after that and I much prefer the old Odyssey with Jack, Donna, Jimmy, Lucy, Curt, Oscar and others. I do understand that actors move on but I loved the feeling of the old odyssey, where Whit would sit down and teach the kids right and wrong. That's why I love listening to the Gold audio series and think it's awesome Focus produced those!

 

How do you imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?

I imagine Whit's End as a huge building that Whit has fixed up for the kids. Each room has its own design and structure and has something fun for the kids. But more the that I imagine Whit's End as a place to go when you upset and need a listening ear or when you have a problem and need some advice. Someone will always be there to help or comfort you and I love that.
Odyssey as a town, I image a town that appears to be a small town but on the inside is really bigger than that. It's a place where everyone knows everyone else and a cozy little place to go if you ever need a break. Makes me wish Odyssey was real.

 

If you had your own AIO site, what would you put on it?

I would have information on the show, actor info, fun facts, new releases etc. Nothing more than what you have n your wonderful site! : )

 

What is your favorite section of whitsend.org?

The podcast page because I love the new podcast. Other than that it's not really updated too often, so I rely on other sites for information.

 

What is your favorite section of the Odyssey Scoop, my site? 

The FAQ because you give such creative and funny responses. I also like the miscellaneous section because its got some interesting stuff in it.

 

Do you have any last comments, questions, or suggestions?

All i have left to say is thank you to the Odyssey team for all your work these 20 years and thanks to all the webmasters of the fan sites. Odyssey has blessed me and I know it will bless you too.
