How long have
you been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey?
I stumbled on the show a few years back when I was working the
'grave yard' shift at work. I'd get home around 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning and
turned on the radio. Much to my pleasant surprise, AIO. I'd heard it the odd
time, a while back, but getting back to it was great!
What is your
favorite episode of all time?
So far, as I don't know all the shows, The Great Wishy Woz.
Note: There's an interesting connection about that episode, Dave
Madden and an episode of The Partridge Family. The actress who played The
Wiched witch of the West, in The Wizard of Oz, played Rueben's mom. So the whole
deal about "That wicked and mean and generally not very nice woman" tickled me!
What is your
favorite AIO web site?
Whitsend.org... I go there for my AIO
fix. But I'm getting to like this site more now!
If you could
meet one actor, who would you meet and why?
Tough one! I like
both Eugene and Wooton, but...I guess I'll have to go with Will Ryan (Eugene). I
actually understand MOST of what Eugene says and he reminds me of another
brainy/musical character NOT on AIO.
Which character
do you resemble the most and why?
Personality
wise??? Off hand, I don't think anyone. Maybe Connie at times. We're both pretty
opinionated.
Who is your
favorite character and why?
Okay, here I'll go
with Wooton. It's only fair. I've always been intrigued about his family.
Apparently, while he comes from money, the Basset family can't buy compassion.
Wooton's the exception.
In your
opinion, what do I need to change about my website?
For now, I can't
see anything wrong. But I'm new here.
If you could
change anything about AIO, what would it be and why?
I can't think of
anything off hand, but if I could offer a story idea....tragically, Bart and Tom
may have to be killed off in a car accident, unless a vocal replacement can be
found for Walker. But, how about if they have it so Bart lives long enough to
tell people Tom saved his life...then he becomes a Christian... and then dies of
complications. Speaking of the Rathbones, though, WHO's the voice of Doris?
THANKS.
Our Response:
The current Doris Rathbone is voiced by Diane Hsu. Before that, Pamela Hayden.
How do you
imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?
Small town U.S.A.
The place where you can SLOW DOWN. Life moves, just not as fast as in the BIG
city.
If you had your
own AIO site, what would you put on it?
I think I'd have
my own version of 'The Imagination Station' but for writer wannabe's. Let fans
come up with their own ideas. BUT...it must be understood that before the
would-be authors add anything, they'd be notified that the idea might be used
for the show....just for the sake of legal clarity. Mind you, that's likely what
most fans would want anyway. We writers are a glory-hungry lot.
What is your
favorite section of whitsend.org?
Eugenius. I
answered a questionnaire and got a near perfect score.
What is your
favorite section of the Odyssey Scoop, my site?
I like all of what
I've seen, so far.
Do you have any
comments or questions?
Thanks for giving
fans the opportunity to have our 'voices' heard, as it were. Right now, I don't
have any suggestions for the site. One question, though....how open are the
writers to suggestions for future episodes? IF possible, how could one inquire
about submitting a story idea? Hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
Thanks for your time and patience. With Christmas/Hanukkah around the corner,
let me just quote Eugene in saying ....Seasonal Felicitations!
Our Response:
The writers are very open to suggestions for future episodes. You can
write to the folks at Adventures in Odyssey | Colorado Springs, CO
80995.
