How long have you been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey?

Since I was about 7 years old. A friend of my mom's leant her an album and my brothers and I were hooked!

 

What is your favorite episode of all time?

My favorite single episode would probably be Gifts for Madge and Guy. My all-time favorite adventure series (continuous episodes) would be the Darkness Before Dawn album!

 

What is your favorite AIO web site?

Why, odysseyscoop.com, of course! I also visit whitsend.org frequently and listen to the live radio streaming episodes.

 

If you could meet one actor, who would you meet and why? 

I would love to meet Hal Smith. He's the character that won my affection in the early albums. I sometimes wish I could just sit down at the counter, order a WodFamChocSod (World Famous Chocolate Soda *wink wink*) at chat with Mr. Whittaker for hours.

 

Which character do you resemble the most and why?

I'm probably the most like Lucy. I'm pretty sensitive, curious and I love to write. I also love the Richard Maxwell character! Beyond that, I'm sure I'd practically live and Whit's End and talk with Connie and Eugene frequently!

 

Who is your favorite character and why?

I love Whit. I'm sure I'd pull up a chair and get his great advice for hours. Whit is such an inspiration for how to live, he's so kind and gentle, like a grandfather who really, really cares. And after all the things he did to get Whit's End going, I really feel so touched. The fact that he doesn't watch TV is a little bazaar, but that's O.K., ha ha.

 

In your opinion, what do I need to change about my website?

Nothing! I like it just the way it is...it's my resource for great AIO information or whenever I need to cure my AIO-wanna-be-staff craving.

 

If you could change anything about AIO, what would it be and why? 

I'd bring back a lot of the old characters from the first albums. I really like the beginning episodes the best (I love the new ones, too, don't get me wrong) but I'd like to see the old characters back.

 

How do you imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?

Oh, wow. It's far to hard to explain. I'd imagine Whit's End as a large house-like structure, and when you walk in, you see counters stretching against the back wall and about 30 - 40 feet to reach them, tables on either side of you. Then, of course, a doorway to the kitchen, and a couple of other doorways to the other rooms. I've always gotten the impression of green counters (don't ask why, I don't know!) and colorful tile flooring. And of course Odyssey would be a small, cozy town that I think I'd know as well as the back of my hand!

 

If you had your own AIO site, what would you put on it?

Everything that's here on the Scoop and every episode ever made, right on the website and able to be listened to with Quicktime!

 

What is your favorite section of whitsend.org?

The daily radio episode streaming!
