Road Trip Surprises

How would you react if Connie and Joanne ran into Eugene on their road trip this season? What would you like to see happen?

That would be great, to hear eugene again.

I would be very happy. I disagree with Emily though. I think Eugene's story isn't tied up!! We still don't know anything about when he was little (if he ever was. lol) and we need to find out what is going on and how exactly he fit in with the Novacom thing. I would be very happy if he came back even for a short time (as long as it wasn't a "Cut and Paste" thing. PLEASE COME BACK EUGENE!!!!!!!!!

        --Hannah, Age 12, Florida

I think it would be great! I even have the perfect way for it to happen - Connie will be in a hotel elevator, not paying attention, and Eugene can say something like Whit did when he was in disguise in the Middle East! (I want your wallet!) I think it would be wonderful if Eugene's return to AIO could bookend Whit's return on the scene in "The Search for Whit." He wouldn't have to use the wallet line, though. Maybe their meeting could be planned by Mitch, so Eugene would still be safe, but Connie would have a chance to see her old friend. That's why Mitch didn't have time to write a grammarically correct letter - he was too busy trying to convince his superiors that Eugene needed to contact people from Odyssey in some way! I don't know why Mitch knew Connie would be in that elevator when she's supposed to be in Odyssey, though. Maybe he could be waiting when Connie and Joanne got back to Odyssey or something.

Almost forgot about him! JK. Well, there are quite a few different things to consider. First of all, if he won't tell them what's going on then it won't matter if we see him for a little while, because we won't get anything out of it except, "Greetings and salutations Miss Kendell, and to you as well Mrs. Alan. Ahem...this is awkward, I should be going. Farewell!" What good is that? None! So, if that is the case, then I don't want to hear from him, but... if he will tell them something about what's going on I would love to hear from him. I am very curious to see what all the fuss is about. Although, I am not sure that I would want him to join the Odyssey gang again, you know, be a big part of Odyssey, because he is obviously not going to be the same Eugene. The one that we all know. He is married. He is a husband. Judging my own thoughts by this point, I would say that I don't want to hear from him.

Not now. No. Possibly not ever. Eugene is gone. Deal with it. Odyssey is doing fine without him and to bring him back now would be all wrong. Eugene's story ended appropriately. He married Katrina. The storylines they've developed for him are tied up. We loved him while he was with us. It's time to let go.

Wait...do you know something we don't? Two words: Boo. Yah.

        --Ryan, Age 16, Alberta (Canada)

OUR RESPONSE: Angels Unaware. ;)

I would be very happy, but shocked.

        --???, Age 13, California

Wow! That would be totally awesome!

        --Anne, Age 20

That would definetly be cool. It would explain Mitch's lack of correspondence with Connie 'cause he's been too busy with his latest assingment with the FBI-- keeping Eugene and Katrina under witness protection.

--Sapphira Fear, Age 18 and 3/4, Nebraska

That would be so awesome .... wait a min is this going to happen?

        --Alyson, Age 14, Illinois

OUR RESPONSE: Maybe, maybe not.

I would be very surprised and would like to see this happen, but it won't because it's too soon...anyway, we're doing fine without Eugene.

        --Dave

I would prolly freak out! it would be a lil strange since eugene and katrina would then be married... but... it would just be weird.

        --p.k., Age 12

Two words: OHHHHHHHHHH YYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
