Whit's End - Revamped or Ruined?

 

 

What do you think of the Official Site's new design? What would you suggest they change, or should anything be changed?

 

 

I LOVE their new design! They needed something different. It had been the same forever!

I like it a lot, but I can't get to the games on my computer. I don't like not being able to play their games that much. I have a Windows XP, and it won't show!

The official site's new design is awesome!! It is so much more welcoming and easier to find things on!

I like it a lot. It's easy to get to places faster. But I wish they had interviews with the actors and pictures of them.!!! I like to know about who plays the voices of different characters in Odyssey.

Pros: It has a more cheery air to it, easier to get from place to the other, and find updates. Cons: They don't have very much info about the actors. In fact not many websites have very much. Personally, I like to know about THEM, not what they do. It IS pretty obvious anyway, they act. Another con is that the 'face buttons' are a little 'sticky' if I can call them that. Altogether, it has changed for the better. I can hardly wait until they have the rest done. Since the Imagination Station is 'done', I'll say (or write) it is definitely better.

What do I think of the Official Site's new design? A good question...and one I surprising know the answer too! Yes, the Official Site has done a good job with the main page, something that grabs your attention and holds it there...at least for five seconds (something that it didn't used to do-just sidetrack that page, never changes).

 

What would I suggest that they change, if anything? Well...I dunno...I suppose the main "concern" is to change all the separate pages. Fans are desperate for something fresh and something that isn't fresh isn't fresh. Er, yeah. But also some more "lightning-quick" updates (ya know, not updating it a few lightyears after it's been released on another FAN website but actually having it there at the same time or before). And, of course, even more things for the older fan...I'm sure that the majority of visitors are over twelve years old. Either that or younger than twelve.

 

So, that's my opinion on the recent main page design change to whitsend.org. Oh, by the way, when will we be seeing a positive change in your page, Jacob?;-)

OUR RESPONSE: Oh, you never know. That's what's good about this place. As of now, the design fits my needs, the kinks are kicked out of the design, and I'm in such a comfortable comfort zone. Maybe someday soon.

 

I think that it is very helpful, and I like the way you find so much information on the home page. It's much easier to find everything. I also think that it could possibly be motivating them to work harder on the site itself, because I have noticed improvements in updates as well. It definitely is a very nice improvement.
