Fred Holstein

 

 

What do you think of Fred Holstein's disappearance from Odyssey? Do you think he needs to come back? If so, explain. If not, explain.

 

 

Wow, I had forgotten all about Fred! Good old Fred. I haven't really missed him much, but his way of amusingly abusing common sayings made Eugene and Katrina's long, drawn out, seemingly never to end relationship a little bit more entertaining. I'm afraid that he's gone. In my opinion, we'll hear from him next time we hear from Eugene and Katrina. In other words, "When Pigs Swim!"

Huh? Fred Holstein dissappeared??? Well, if he did...Yes I want him to come back...I LOVE him!!!

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about that in so long, but now that you mentioned it I'm all cheesed off. Why'd Holstein my buddy have to leave? He was the man! I had some of the best lines ever given to an Odyssey Character, and delivered them with such elegance, that they continue to have an impact on me to this day. Hats off to you Mr. Holstein, you are the man. And if you don't agree with me, "Slap your tongue!!!"

Ha ha! I had forgoten all about Fred!!! Funny how we forget alot about caractors that are there but in the background! I think he is hiding Eugene and Katrina in his shop! (lol) but really on the more relistic side I think he will show up soon with a story on how he has been doing. Maybe some bad thing lately has happened and we will see it soon! (maybe even this season!!!)

Hmmm...I hadn't really even noticed his absence. Now that you mention it, though, I see it's true. But, then again, he was almost always connected with Eugene and Katrina. Maybe that has something to do with it. Or maybe he is working with the Germans and Novacom to take over the world! Well...that's what Jared said anyway. Thanks for pointing it out though. :) Whather or not I miss him, I don't know. But I never disliked him, either. He was always a funny addition to the show. I just hope he doesn't make those sausages again...

I think that Fred Holstein kinda disappeared along with Eugene and Katrina. If he would bring them back along with him, I would welcome him!

He hasn't disappeared... I refuse to believe that he has gone down the long, dark tunnel of forgotten characters.

 

Really... I'm quite certain he will pop up again someday. Hopefully soon.

Who's Fred Holstein?

OUR RESPONSE: Fred Holstein is an older-aged man and runs "Holstein's Books" in Odyssey. He first appeared in ...It Ended with a Handshake.

 

Did he ever go anywhere? To be truthful, I don't think he ever left Odyssey, he's just in the background for now. I can almost guarnatee you that he will be in another episode sometime in the future...we don't want him to be overused, do we?
