Percival Fenwick
Percival Fenwick was the manager of Odyssey Bank around
the 1940's. Around 1946 there was a bank robbery, and it wasn't found
out until years after he retired that Fenwick was an inside man in on
the robbery. Fenwick never actually got his share of the money because
it was put in a location unknown to him (the basement of the recreation
center, which later became Whit's End). He got Alfred Myers to actually
rob the bank while Fenwick planned it right down to blow darts that came
in handy when police rookie at the time Ralph
Howards walked by on his rounds. He had an affection for African
relics and gathered quite a collection in his home. |
