Jerry Whittaker is the deceased son of Whit, having died
in the Vietnam war after volunteering to go into the U.S. army. His only
appearances were in the episodes

Family
Jerry is the son of John Avery and Jenny Whittaker, his
siblings are Jason and Jana Whittaker-Dowd. His niece and nephew is
Monty and Jenny Whittaker-Dowd. His former brother-in-law is Phil Dowd.
