Connie in Love?
By Jacob Isom
Recently, Connie came
across someone who would change her life. Say the name and Connie's face automatically
goes from a skin tone color to a deep shade of crimson. Connie immediately fixes her gaze
on her true love while living her day in a daydreaming style. He's the only man for her.
Who is this man? It's her new bo: Robert Mitchell.ecently, Connie came
across someone who would change her life. Say the name and Connie's face automatically
goes from a skin tone color to a deep shade of crimson. Connie immediately fixes her gaze
on her true love while living her day in a daydreaming style. He's the only man for her.
Who is this man? It's her new beau: Robert Mitchell.
Connie met Mitch in
an episode called, appropriately enough, "Green Eyes and Yellow Tulips." Connie
had been working at Whit's End at the time, minding her business. She needed Eugene's help
lifting some heavy boxes, when, alas, Mitch walked through the front door of Whit's End!
What could be better? Of course Connie stumbled around with her words, noticing Robert's
nice shade of green eyes right away. What a wonderful day Connie was having! Until she
found out something about Mitch...
"Mitch
works at Novacom! What will Connie do?! What will Whit think if I date someone from
Novacom? Whit doesn't think to much of Novacom ever since it opened."
Connie was in a real
bind. Fortunately, Whit didn't mind Connie dating Mitch. Or so he says. Is Whit just
putting up a front so he won't hurt Connie's feelings? Or is he telling the truth? Only
time will tell what becomes of all this.
Is Mitch the
all-around good guy that he says he is? He claims to be a Christian teenager, but is he
really good for Connie? Those Novacomies could change Mitch's thinking towards what he
believes. What if something goes wrong? Even so, Connie is in love with a Christian young
man.
Connie has had
another love way in the past. Jeff Lewis. Another all-around nice guy, but not a
Christian. The Bible says that we shouldn't "be unequally yoked with an
unbeliever." Connie learned that lesson the hard way through Jeff Lewis. If you
happen to stumble across someone who isn't a Christian, flee immediately or you might get
yourself into some relationship that you'll regret. It's best to just be friends with that
person, otherwise don't talk to him/her.
What will become of Connie and
Mitch's newfound relationship together? Will they end up like Eugene and Katrina? Will
they disagree on something and break up? Keep listening to find out. We'll all find out
together what Mitch's true side is, if he's a bad guy or not.
