Living

"It
looks like they [AIO] did a good job, considering the
cliffhanger I was left to hang on..."

Here's
some news you can use. Today be sure to stop by OnePlace if you
haven't heard Living in the Gray II [#536]
yet. It's definitely worth the time. Also The
Soda Fountain has posted its review of today's episode.

Reviews...
usually they arrive on the net as new episodes come out.
Reviews... something I hadn't thought of until the arrival of
the new season. Reviews... something I'd better get to work on!
So
about these reviews... I'm about a two-parter behind, but that's
not bad considering the substantial effort I had to make
reviewing last time I caught up. I think I learned my lesson,
and I think I'll make writing reviews a priority as I had last
season!

Late
yesterday I finished revamping the Links
page, so be sure to check it out. I've re-summarized the
information for each link to make it more interesting as well as
revamped the images. New links are there, too.

Shadowpaw
has been through a lot with his website. He slowly built it from
the ground up, introduced some special reality shows, and even
watched his site's empire fall. However, a couple grand
reopenings can never hurt as long as the visitors keep visiting.
Be sure to check out the new and improved Soda Fountain, located
at its new link: http://www.aiosf.com.
Shadowpaw plans on introducing a bunch of great things, so check
it out!
Today
I added a page containing 2004 shows in the Episodes
section. It took a few days to get touched up. I am in the
middle of enhancing the Links page, so
the Soda Fountain has not been posted yet, but it will be
updated within the week. Don't miss out!

It's
been a very long time since the last time they did one of these,
but the Official Site has
opened up a chance to participate in a new contest. This time
they need help coming up with a name for album seven in the
"Gold Audio Series" and you have the opportunity to
win some prizes if you provide a name! Head on over, login to
your Wonderworld account, and see what it's all about. The new
season is underway, so a few other things are there as well.

The
day is finally here! A new season has officially begun and it's
up to you to find out what it's all about. The season opener, Living
in the Gray, airs today on radio stations across the
country. Be sure to listen
because it's definitely worth hearing.
Friday,
January 23, 2004
Well,
it's been a long wait, and tomorrow is the first day of the new
season! Be sure to check back tomorrow and click the
"Listen at Oneplace" button at the side to hear it. If
you have a radio station to access the new show, Living in
the Gray, then by all means, tune in!

A
new season of Adventures in Odyssey begins this Saturday,
and you won't want to miss out on what's going on. An old friend
will be back and Connie's road trip will continue. A listing of
episodes has been posted below to the left of these updates. Be
sure to check them out.

Wow...
I was re-introduced to Odyssey's first rap song,
"Communicate," the other day. "All you gotta do
is communicate!" If you haven't heard it, try getting your
hands on a cassette copy of Lights
Out at Whit's End. However it may be tough to find one as
they are no longer available. The second AIO rap song was in Chores
No More. It is, by far, the best rap song AIO has ever
attempted, although I don't care for rap very much.

Well,
a new season of Adventures in Odyssey begins next week!
Be sure to tune in for the first part of Living in the Gray.
I'll post more information next week. Sorry I haven't posted any
new season information.

I'm
sure you've probably been wondering when I will be releasing my
updated photograph over in the About
the Webmaster section. Well the truth is, once you see my
aging face, your face will begin to age more rapidly as a
result. Never fear, I plan on releasing this incriminating
material in the coming days, so keep checking back! So until
next time... keep aging! You have no choice.

At
long last, the Official Site
has released its new design. Check out the homepage of the site
for an all-new look. It's a step up from their previous design.
The rest of the site will be following in the coming days, so
patience is requested. If you'll notice, inside the site the
navigation bar has been changed just a bit, but not greatly.
We'll see how things are "developed" (no pun intended)
over the next few weeks.

Well,
I've finally gotten things back in order. My computer is in full
functioning capacity and things are back in gear. However I did
lose all the website files but those are easily restorable.
In
regards to site updates in the next few days, I cannot add
anything due to the fact that I don't have the files, though I
will be getting them back as soon as possible. Please bear with
me.
Friday,
January 9, 2004
Right
now I am struggling to keep my computer alive. Something has
gone bad wrong with it and I am in the process of making
last-minute backup copies of important files. It looks as though
I will need to reformat the computer within the next two or
three days, which means that I will be in a world of stress
trying to get things together. The site may even look deserted
in that time frame! Please be patient with me as I am trying to
have patience with problems in technology... I will be back
shortly. (Shortly really does mean shortly!)

One
of the original AIO websites on the net, "The Soda
Fountain," will be re-opening! Shadowpaw, the site's
founder, is "seriously considering reviving the Soda
Fountain. For those of you who don't know what that is, it was
an Adventures in Odyssey website that just got up and
died one day. It slowly drifted away." It died a few times
as a matter of fact, but one thing goes unnoticed: it has never
been forgotten. It may have no visitors right now, but it's
still around mentally and may soon be back.

What
should we do for our next contest and/or giveaway here at the
Scoop? Should we do something huge, let you decide the prize? Contact
Us and let us know. Your input is very helpful. I have my
mind on a special idea, but I'm curious to know what you think.

According
to the Official Site, the
new season of Adventures in Odyssey
will begin on January 24, 2004. The two-part episode,
"Living in the Gray," will rush in the new season and
it looks to be about Connie and her relationship closure with
Mitch. The road trip will continue, obviously, and surprises are
in store. A small sneak preview is available at the Official
Site! Hold on... there's only less than a month left.

Happy
New Year! As a celebration of the first day of 2004, we've
finally released a new sound clip. Prepare yourself for Trip
to Ireland, an interesting spin-off of the road trip that
Joanne Allen and Connie Kendall are taking in recent days. Head
on over to Sound Clips to find out
what it's all about!
