Wooton's absurd personality
contributes well to Childish Things, one of funniest
Adventures in Odyssey episodes I've heard in a long time. The episode
utilizes an absurd premise and goes straight for the jugular, so to speak .
. . It makes use of its talented cast and comedic characters such as Jacques
Henri (even Whit gets in on the fun), within several well-crafted, comedic
scenes.Read

The reason Unbecoming Jay seems to
exist is to showcase Whit Hertford's pitch-perfect delivery and comedic
timing. "Jay Smouse has become one of our favourite AIO characters", the
Odyssey Team tweeted just the other day. Out of all the characters
introduced since the show's hiatus, fans have reacted most enthusiastically
towards Jay. He's gone from being Vance King's sidekick in
Target of the Week
to seemingly replacing Vance King altogether.Read

Today we present
more reviews from
the Fall 2011 season of Adventures in Odyssey:
While it is well paced and provides a good
role for Emily, Emily the Genius raises important questions but never
explores them as well as it could have.Read

I was amazed how involved I was in
How to Sink a Sub. Its characters are well-utilized and fully
realized, the story is well-plotted and nicely paced. This may not
be the show's 700th goodepisode, but it is invariably a good
700th episode.Read full review...
Stay tuned. We'll be concluding our season of reviews
soon with the last two and beginning to look forward to new

Never for Nothing
certainly has all the ingredients of a classic, unforgettable Adventures
in Odyssey episode: a moving storyline, a dark tragedy, a nice twist at
the end. I think it falls (no pun intended) short with Lucia's slow,
uninteresting story and a somewhat sentimental plot addition.Read

A milestone moment has taken place this weekend, thanks to
the dedication of the Adventures in Odyssey team.
The show that began a long and successful journey in 1987
continues with the airing of its 700th episode: How to Sink a
Subon Saturday, December 3, 2011. The 600th episode
(The Nudge)
aired in 2006, and the 500th episode (titled appropriately
enough: 500)
in 2002. The Odyssey team is at the top of their game, with
no plans for a series finale in sight. The show continues to
impact families—and now
international audiences—as
the show makes its way into other languages and cultures.
Congratulations, Adventures in Odyssey! May the show
go on. Here's to 700 more episodes!
Today we present our review of A Penny Earned,
thanks to our reviewer Ben Warren:
A Penny Earned incorporates ancient,
time-tested story threads. It follows A Penny Saved nicely and
utilizes our favorite characters well, bringing all of hem together again
for a common purpose.Read
