Because Odyssey runs on a different time table, or appears to, people can stay in middle school as long as they want. Connie remained at 16 for years, but she finally discovered that graduating from high school was worth it. Rodney Rathbone surpassed her age years ago. As for Liz and Mandy being 14, their age is perfectly acceptable for kids who are middle school.
