  • The episode Family Vacation takes the Barclays to the state of Florida. Before leaving Odyssey, Donna whines that she will be stuck in the car for three days with her brother Jimmy (referencing the distance from Odyssey to Florida). Later, George reveals 20 minutes into their car trip that they will arrive in two days. Now, is the two or three days? And where is Odyssey in relation to Florida? It has to be a 2-3 day drive between the two.

  • In Preacher's Kid, the Barclay's are attending a church dinner. After the meal, a church member, Mrs. Erskine, hosts a game where the participants are attempting to find all 50 United States in another church member's liver spots. Mrs. Erskine remarks that she thinks someone's found Florida. There isn't enough evidence to prove that Odyssey is or isn't in California. However, other episodes indicate the Odyssey isn't in Florida (see above).

  • In Silent Night, Bernard Walton breaks the news to a lonely Whit that he and his wife, Maude, have gone to Florida for the holidays. Bernard admits that they decided "to skip the Christmas blizzard this year to head south." That would place Odyssey in one of the northern states of the country.

  • An edition of Clubhouse Magazine's "Odyssey Blog" features Alex Jefferson telling his readers that he will be going on a trip to Florida to visit Cal Jordan, stating that it will be a 28-hour car trip. According to Alex, Odyssey is 28 hours away from Florida, but one must ask... is this consistent with the audio series, or a faulty fact?

  • In Rights, Wrongs, and Winners, a city called Sunshine Beach is Odyssey's competition for "The Best Small Town" Competition for Home & Country Magazine. Sunshine Beach is a city in Florida, however, Odyssey is not, as determined by previous episodes.
