Hello AIO Fan,
We're glad you
were excited about signing up for the AIO
Scoopian Newsletter.
The Odyssey Scoop
exists to give listeners the "Scoop" on
Adventures in Odyssey, one cone at a time.
Website Spotlight
A lot of
things have been happening in the world of
"Adventures in Odyssey," and the Odyssey
Scoop is no exception. This summer we have
been trying to get some site features up to
date, mainly our popular Interviews section.
At the interviews section, we've conducted
several interviews with cast and crew
members and many, many fans! You too could
see your interview posted at the site. To
read interviews or submit one of your own,
visit us at
https://odysseyscoop.com/interviews.
Of course one
of the visitor favorites over the years has
been our daily updates about "Adventures in
Odyssey." Check back every day to the site
to find out the latest happenings on the #1
Christian audio entertainment brand! You
never know what you're going to get. Many
times we talk about upcoming AIO products.
Other times we talk about fansites. And
other times we just talk, and talking is
what we do best at the Odyssey Scoop.
It wouldn't
hurt to mention (now keep this secret from
those who don't receive this newsletter!) that
we will be updating the section that
got us mentioned in "Adventures in Odyssey:
The Official Guide" last year. Our team of
experts (well, if only) have been comparing
notes and dissecting the series to find even
more locations for our "Where Odyssey Is
Not" section. Be watching the site in the
coming days for this exhaustive update.
Odyssey
News
Much has happened
since our last newsletter in 2008. An exciting
new audio adaptation of "Darien's Rise" will be
available and airs on September 19th. This
9-part dramatization captures the imagination of
the popular "Passages" book series like no other
can. To learn more about this exciting release,
visit https://odysseyscoop.com/merchandise/DariensRise.htm.
We also have
another big announcement that will affect the
series. After 14 years of dedicated service to
"Adventures in Odyssey," actor Paul Herlinger is
stepping down from his role as John Avery
Whittaker. Never fear -- a special podcast was
dedicated to Whit and the actors who have voiced
him over the years. I highly recommend you
listen to this podcast at the Official Site: http://whitsendblog.org/2009/08/whit-podcast. Also
you will have the opportunity to hear a sneak
peek of the new voice of Whit! We will certainly
miss Paul Herlinger and appreciate what he did
to make AIO, well, AIO!
In the
Know
We mentioned
the upcoming "Darien's Rise" adaptation
earlier in our newsletter. This special
collection airs beginning Setember 19th! Be
sure and check the Odyssey Scoop for the

have up-to-date information regarding
episodes far in the future. Listen
accordingly.
Thank you for
reading this newsletter. As always, if
you're interested in learning more about the
webmaster, point your browser to
jacobisom.org. The site contains a

Again, thanks
for reading. And thank you for making the
Odyssey Scoop a fun place to be!
Sincerely,
Jacob Isom
