Hello AIO Fan,
We're glad you were
excited about signing up for the AIO Scoopian
Newsletter. The Odyssey Scoop
exists to give listeners the "Scoop" on
Adventures in Odyssey, one cone at a time.
While we do not have
any recent updates to the website, we'd like to
bring your attention to some special news items.
Site News
The Odyssey Scoop has
been around for six years now as of December 22,
2006. The website started with an "Adventures in
Odyssey" fan, and continues to provide interesting
tidbits on Odyssey. This is just a friendly reminder
that if you have participated in any sort of our
site interaction - whether that be filling out an
interview, writing a review, or asking a question
about Odyssey - we have them all archived in a safe
place. So you don't need to keep filling out an
interview or bugging us with questions. We've got
them in the vault and they'll be released sometime
in the future. Until then, if you haven't taken
advantage of our different ways for fan interaction,
I'd like to urge you to do so at
https://odysseyscoop.com. We'd like to get a
big set of new things in the summer, and it's only
your help that will make the site come alive.
Odyssey News
A new "Adventures in
Odyssey" album is scheduled for a tentative release
in March 2007. Volume 47, "Into the Light," will be
released in the old CD clamshells that everyone has
become so fond of. Tyndale and Focus on the Family
have teamed up to bring you "Adventures in Odyssey."
Otherwise, the Odyssey Scoop would not exist. For
more information on the latest release, visit
https://odysseyscoop.com/merchandise/47.htm.
Also we have some
other exciting AIO news for you. Several months ago
the Official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast internet
show was started just for fans like you. Visit
http://www.whitsend.org/podcast to tune into the
behind-the-scenes side of "Adventures in Odyssey."
Radio Theatre
News
While you're waiting
for the latest Odyssey episodes and album releases,
we'd like to put in a plug for Focus on the Family
Radio Theatre. A new movie, "Amazing Grace," is
hitting theatres on February 23, 2007. Focus on the
Family Radio Theatre and Bristol Bay Productions
have teamed up to bring you "Amazing Grace," three
stories from Radio Theatre. Radio Theatre is a
production of Focus on the Family that has become
very popular in recent years, and it's only by fans
that more productions can be made. As one who has
heard the "Amazing Grace" set for himself, I urge
you to get a copy for yourself. Then you'll be ready
for the movie on February 23rd. For more
information, visit
http://www.radiotheatre.org or the movie site at
http://www.amazinggracemovie.com.
Thank you for reading
this newsletter. As a side note, we just recently
expanded our
Merchandise section
with the new Quarantine section. Now the Odyssey
Scoop contains over 200 products that Adventures
in Odyssey has released over the years. The
Quarantine section contains products that are not
available anymore, but it's nice to have a section
devoted to it.
As always, if you're
interested in learning more about the webmaster,
point your browser to jacobisom.org.
The site contains a collection of audio recordings,
videos, poetry, short stories, wallpaper,
photos, and more.
Again, thanks for
reading. And thank you for making the Odyssey Scoop
a fun place to be!
Sincerely,
Jacob Isom
