the more frequently released albums

Hidden in all this dust lies the hypothesis of many AIO fans. What do you feel is sure to happen, and what should stay buried? Chris says keep listening, we say speculate.

the more frequently released albums

I love the idea of smaller cases for AIO, and super-short seasons released twice a year rather than waiting a whole year for just one album. Do you hope they'll continue with this format for a long time? Or are you consterned?

Let's talk it up!

Let's put it this way: I think it's the best possible option they could have, under the circumstances of OAC.

I think I'd rather have 12 amazing episodes once a year than 6 kinda okay or meh episodes twice a year.

Well who says the 6 episodes can't be amazing?

...I don't understand...why would the 6 episodes twice a year be "okay or meh"?

They seemed 'meh' to me, since album 51.

Maybe they are attempting to try to keep from people losing interest?

because rushed time equals less quality, Will. And I kinda have to agree, JD. Nothing's been truly amazing so far. Maybe a couple episodes have, like Sgt. York. Those were good.

I don't think they're rushing it, from my understanding they're releasing episodes as they finish them, instead of letting the first six episodes sit while they finish up the back six.

Yup, what Mr. WE said. They aren't rushing episodes, they're just releasing them sooner instead of waiting for all of them to be finished.
Also, the post-hiatus albums being inferior is completely unrelated to whether the episodes in a six-episode album will be inferior to a 12-episode album.

The smaller cases for the albums makes me sad. I like my bulky four-disc cases.

I like the bulky cases too...I've had them as long as I've listened to AIO--pretty much my whole life.

It's just like they're releasing half an album at a time, so I don't get what the big deal is. I don't really care about the cases, but maybe that's just because I don't actually know how durable they are.
