Blitz, Mr. Thinker is already the leader, unless he steps down. Or do you mean a leader who picks the book? I'm against that idea.

As to which book now, the second-most voted was A Wrinkle in Time.
*Cough* Frankenstein tied with the first book. *cough*

If you're talking about the poll, anyone can vote in the poll, whether they've ever posted in the club or not.

What do you mean PF? I think Frankenstein would be a great read.

I think we should have a new pole or vote here what book we want to read next. :) I also agree with Mr. Foolish Ducky is our fearless leader ;)

No one besides Blitz has objected. Shall we move ahead with Wrinkle in Time? Or does anyone else vote for Frankenstein? If you want Frankenstien, that's great, but please vote (on the topic, not the poll) soon. It's been a while since Terebithia, we need to get rolling!

Alright, it is now a tie between A Wrinkle In Time and Frankenstein. I for one do not care which we read, though, just to get my opinion out there, I would prefer Frankenstein. Also, I wouldn't be so quick to christen me the "fearless leader", considering I didn't even read the first book in our klub. :P Or were you being sarcastic?

Through a strange coincidence, PF and I posted the first posts in this topic in a week at around exactly the same time. I agree with him, though... we do need to "get the ball rolling".

I would prefer Frankenstein also. And how anyway did any one nominate Arnold as our leader?

He made the topic that is how he became our fearless leader.

I don't care I've never read either and don't know anything about them so I look forward to whichever.

Now, now ducky. No one around here is sarcastic, are they?? ;) I wasn't and I didn't read Mr. Foolish's post that way either but I can only speak for myself. :D

People who have already voted in the club and people who don't care don't help. :P We've already groaned to a halt and we've only read one book. Somebody please vote here in the club for either Frankenstein or a Wrinkle in Time.

I already counted your vote, Wakko and Mr. Whit's End. So I think we're still tied. (?)

Can we please just flip a coin to pick which tied book to read first? This has dragged on for far too long (kudos to PF for adopting a sense or urgency in his last few posts :P).

Actually, Micky made this topic. Arnold just took control.

I vote A Wrinkle in Time. I just picked that randomly and I don't even care, but I just want to get this started.

I didn't "take control". I just offered a list of possible books since no one else would, and it was decided very quickly that that list would be the poll. I haven't been incredibly involved since then, anyway.

You guys go ahead and Wrinkle In Time, and I will bow out once again, since I'm reading about 4 books right now and I've already read it anyway.

I gave control to The Ducky because I'm not reading these books know. When there is a book I can get I'll take control again!

Pretty darn good book, Wrinkle in Time. In some ways it didn't quite live up to my expectations, in others it exceeded them. Not much happening in the first half of the book, that got galling. Even when things start happening nothing really happens. We just see the black evil thing, and they all cry boohoo. And then they visit a crystal ball gazer and... we see the black evil thing again. But things got pretty great after that.
