If it doesn't pertain to Adventures in Odyssey, you've stepped into the right place! Grab a chair, and talk about your favorite books, TV shows, join a debate, or just be random!
"Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts." - Jeremiah 15:16
I don't know...we normally have Dominos or Pizza Hut, but if its cheese pizza- it probably is heavenly! So what do you think about sparkly blue fingernail polish? I just painted my nails blue and they look lovely. Its such a hard decision, deciding over whether to paint them pink or blue. *sighs* But blue overruled this time.
Wow, you have to make a lot of decisions I've never thought about.
My cousin, who runs in track, and is an extremely good runner, said that she got a free pedicure (is that what you call it?) certificate from a distant relative. She went to the place, and got her feet bathed and massaged. Then, when it was time for the nail polish, the lady working there asked my cousin if she wanted the deep blue nail polish (that was already on her feet) removed. Slightly embarrassed, my cousin explained that she actually had severe bruises under her toenails from running. Ouch!
My siblings and I all have orange toenails right now. Apparently from minerals in the water we play in.
Oh gosh! That's crazy! Your poor cousin. I really admire people who are so dedicated to running and what not. Gosh, my sis and I decided we are going to start jogging every night so we can get fit to go skiing this winter, and I almost passed out running to the neighbors house and back! When we were done, she loudly proclaimed "ARE WE WARRIORS OR ARE WE WIMPS?" and which I replied "WE ARE WIMPS, SIR!"
Not for long though, I'm going to get this running thing DOWN!
I have met people who can recite it to the 20th digit. It might be fun, but I have better things to do. I'd rather learn a new concept than repeat an old one over and over.

And whoa, orange tonails? How lovely!
Don't worry. When I started running, I struggled to go a third mile, and I worked up to 6.5! It just takes a while to work your way up.
Wow! Your beginning to inspire me, and also making me feel like a total failure when it comes to running. Just kidding, although I really do want to become better at it...as well as make it a routinely part of my life.
We're going skiing in Red River, New Mexico this time. I'd still like to hit some slopes in Colorado sometime though...
Oh gosh...maybe you should try staying on the bunny slopes, Wooton. It is kind of scary sometimes though, I went down a freakish steep hill once and suddenly I saw a tree, I was like "So this is how my life is going to end." then I crashed, and opened my eyes, expecting to see angels and pearls, but instead I laid in bed for a week with bruises and a 102 fever. *sighs* Skiing is so much fun.

Ha ha, Wooton! Goodness, you're not much of a skier.... come to think of it, who the heck is??
Suzy, Good grief, that's hilarious, but terrible. It sounds like you really could've died!... It's a funny thing, but it seems like I just keep finding out more and more freakish things that happened to you.
As for running, I wish it vanished and dead and gone. Well, not really, it's kinda fun. In a very painful, lung-burning, legs-burning, feel like you're-you're-about-to-barf way. I'm much more for indoor exercising. It doesn't matter how long I go for, it's nowhere near as bad as going even one teensy mile.
As I couldn't exercise in most ways while my heel was broken, I'm a bit out of shape by my standards, but I'm slowly getting back. What I can't comprehend, dear, is why you want to try skiing again after your literal brush with death...
"Pound Foolish, I just adoreee arguing with you! Here, have an eyeball."

I'm more for the indoor exercising too, because outdoor exercising + Texas = big bad heat stroke. Anyhow, what in the tarnation did you do to break your heel?
Oh, and the risk of death when skiing is part of the thrill. You should try it.
