I love being from the South. I don't think my accent is that noticeable most of the time, but it really comes out when I'm angry, stressed, or excited. I used to try to use "proper" English and text using correct grammar and spelling, but then I kind of realized that I was trying too hard at something I didn't actually care that much about, so now it's pretty much a roll of the dice whether you can understand a word I'm typing or not.
I have noticed that actually, and it gives a visual almost, personifing the user behind the screen. I've always wanted a Southern accent, more like the ones spoken by the Belles of the old South, deep and rich, like honey.
Though anyway, I have more of a deep voice than most people are used to, and my "S's" I noticed, sound like "Z's." I'm thinking its how I raised, based on my parent's English and a few members of my extended family.

I lived in Georgia until I was 11, and then moved to Louisiana. Here's how we talked where I'm from. (just be glad I don't talk like this on here.)
greetings: "sup" "yo" "hey baby"
friends: "dude" "boi" "my boyz" "the squad" "kid" "guys" "y'all" "m8" "scrub" "bro" "babe" "crew/krewe"
note: you can put "my" in front of most of these. for example, "my dude" "my bros" "my mates" "my babes" "my krewe"
alright: "aight"
where are you: "where y'at?"
fun/good: "lit" "turnt/turnt up" "poppin" "fly"
bad: "yikes" "grossnasty" "yoinks" "messed up" "sucks" "musty/crusty/dusty"
hate/great/late/mate/ect: h8, gr8, l8, m8...
exclamation: "wowza" "wowie" "yoinks" "zoinks"
scared: "spooked"
excited: "psyched" "hype"
suspicious (I don't really know how to describe it): "sketchy" "shady"
insulted: "roasted" "burned"
agreement: "fo'sho" "fo'tru" "yeah you rite"
sandwich: It's a sandwich. Unless it's a poboy. In which case, it's a poboy.
front steps outside a house/school,ect: "stoop" "da stoop"
team pride: "WHO DAT"
To do with houses:
We never say "at" my house. It's "BY" my house, obviously. Example: "She is sleeping by my house." "Can I sleep by your house tonight?" This comes from the French phrases "chez toi," "chez moi," ect.
And yes, I say "ain't."

Hmm...I wouldn't mind anyone speaking like this on the SS, it'd be fun .
It's interesting how the slang you use in your vocabulary has been used more recently by the internet. "Boi, squad, and lit." I haven't heard those until recently actually. I wonder what would cause an increase of Southern slang into mainstream media...
At our house we've always said "By the house." Which is rather funny since I thought it was unusual.

We say "you guys" to address a group of people. =p #eastern My YG was with some Texans on a mission trip and neither groups could get pass that the other uses ya'll/you guys xD
Also, the dialect in my area includes pronunciations like "crick" (for creek), "earl" (for oil), etc. "You'nse" is also used in my area, but not my by family. But it's not pronounced "You-inz"... it's "Yunz." Almost like an "oo" sound (like in book), but I can't think of a proper phonetically way of describing it.

Ya'll seems to be one thing most of the members of the SS have in common.
I believe I understand what you mean, it'd be said as the same way as the o's in "boot." An U sound. And if you're saying "crick," you're not opening your jaw as much as you would for the ee sound in "creek." I'm guessing your tongue is focused on the lower region of your mouth.
