I'm not sure... I'd want them to come when I could actually visit with them. I guess they could arrive and find fault with my bridegroom and persuade me to call the wedding off, and save me from a lifetime of regret.

I would say yes. Every person is born with a sin nature. Therefore we all have that tendency to sin.
