Thank you. Just... thank you.Wretched Sinner wrote:wow, someone having a baby....and someone dying. Since when did AIO start turning into Love Comes Softly?

I'm not sure I want E+K to have a baby...that's so happy ever after, and life doesn't always work like that - even in Odyssey. I would love to hear that they are going to adopt a child though! Adoption is something I'm really interested in, and international adoption is something that AIO has never addressed at all to my knowledge. I would really be interested in hearing about it from my two of my favorite people - Eugene and Katrina. Maybe Katrina's miracle will come in a different form than Hannah's did. Just a thought (or several). So I wonder if maybe Katrina will experience the story of Hannah, maybe with Olivia or Camilla? However with this thought it could be using the story to lead into Katrina being pregnant with a miracle child like Hannah had Samuel. But would Katrina actually have the child or have complications? In any case I'm really excited for the SAMUEL episode!![]()

I really enjoy your ideas and perspective, Emily. You should post in "About Yourself" in General Discussion or in "Introduce Yourself" on the Bulletin Board so we could know more about you.
I'd be disappointed if Katerina had a child as well, though I'd also be overjoyed. In the end, yes, adoption would be best. Though at this point, with Buck so long gone, one of the most fascinating and wished-for-by-fans prospects is now pretty much officially gone. But I could very easily be made to love a kid adopted by the Meltsners, whoever he she was.

Bren, I checked AIOWiki, and there's no page for that.
Do you think you know music? Guess the hints at the end of each of my posts in A Musical Journey. (The name's a link. You can click it.)
Well, we now know that Shona's character's name is Jules!

In theory the first name won't really mean much to us at this point. If they had said the last it would have been much more helpful. Jules could be a nickname for all we know.... So they just kinda gave us only a little bit more than we already knew.....
Yeah, true. Her identity is what matters.Jason wrote:In theory the first name won't really mean much to us at this point. If they had said the last it would have been much more helpful. We've all been excited about it for some time now: who will Shona be? And many of us are convinced she's Bill Kendall's daughter. Well, I did a little undercover espionage. On the Official Podcast commenting page (where, ironically, I just can't let go of my user name "Anyafan") I posted stating the theory about who Shona will play.
They didn't post the comment.
An accident? I posted again. This time, they let it through, but changed it significantly...all remarks on Bill Kendall and Shona's possible role gone.
It would seem quite possible that Shona shall indeed be Bill Kendall's daughter. This would fit in perfectly with the last podcast. I couldn't help viewing it with our guesses in mind, and everything lined up.
I'm definitely warming up to Shona. I gave her a rather harsh review on my blog, but she came across as the likable, fun person she was in her demo in the podcast and on FB. It seems she's just not a live-show person?
But anyhow, I couldn't help being touched as she described with her wide-eyed fan girl exuberance her experiences... what really got me was touring Whit's End, and with Andre and Katie, and... "so I was with Whit seeing his shop for the first time." I almost cried. I know, I the oddest things move me, but admit it...
That's beautiful.
But here's the big thing. The important thing. The utterly mind blowing thing. It looks like... it really and truly looks like...
Connie... our Connie, Candy Connle, Miss Kendall, The Green Sweatered Spinster...
Connie Kendall herself, has a sister.
I can't believe I just typed that.
Let it sink in. It's very possible...
Connie has a sister.

Oh my gosh, that would be one of the weirdest things to think of, Connie having a little sister. Yet, why else would the moderators of AIO remove all your comments about that? It makes sense.
The only other idea I have for Shona would be involved in some mini adventure like "The Mystery of the Clock Tower." However, after hearing the lines she was recording with Katie Leigh in the latest podcast, I can almost certain you nailed it.
Do you think she would be the daughter of Bill's new wife that she had when he married him, or do you think it's his biological daughter he didn't know about? Also, where did you find the information that the actor who plays Bill Kendall is in Album 57? I couldn't find it.

Good to see you posting, MeltsnerGirl! You're still one of the best.
It's an obscure hint from Brock, Meltsner. I didn't find it myself, so I couldn't give you a link. (Jason? Blondie?)
Probably a new wife, but it would be very dramatic if Bill himself didn't know for a time he had the daughter. Sayyy... Maybe Connie's sister will fall in love with Jason?
That was a joke.

Thank you, it's great to be back.
I love your new picture, btw.
Oh, I see. I'm behind in some of the podcasts. Brock is such a tease.
Hahaha! That sure would thicken the plot.

I just merged the rest of the speculation and the video with his actor into this thread.Pound Foolish wrote:Good to see you posting, MeltsnerGirl! You're still one of the best.

I still don't think I buy that "Jules" is Connie's sister. Maybe Bill being back is more significant than we know, but I don't see it as conclusive evidence...

The two part Samuel IS episode was recorded yesterday, and it seems that "A Jay in the Life" (winning script from the writing contest) has been pushed back for now
And they've been doing some recording today too. It looks like Jay and Barrett are in the Samuel episode as best as I can tell.
Also whatever episodes they're doing today will have Olivia, Eugene and Katrina and Jay, amongst others.

And we have another title.
"All wrapped up for the morning session! Show 3's title: The Friend Formula, turned out great! Well done writing and directing Mr. Bob Hoose!"

If Jules is Connie's sister, than that makes sense when Paul McCusker says that Connie is in a story arc.Pound Foolish wrote: But here's the big thing. The important thing. The utterly mind blowing thing. It looks like... it really and truly looks like...

I was reading AIO Wiki lately and got curious about album 57 and I looked it up and I saw this:
Album 57: A Call to Something More
Anyone have any speculations about what this could possibly mean?
7??: Life Expectancy, Part 1
7??: Life Expectancy, Part 2
7??: Life Expectancy, Part 3
7??: The Friend Formula
I kinda feel like Life Expectancy, parts 1, 2, and 3 are going to have something to about abortion. (sorry if this seems disturbing to you, I know that it can be a very touchy subject for people) I don't really know why, but I just feel like the 2 words Life Expectancy are saying something about abortion. Or, maybe it is something about adoption.
As for the Friend Formula, I'm guessing that it might have something to do with either the Parker or Jones seeing as though they are the main recurring kid character and have the most episodes about stuff like friendship and stuff like that. Or, it could be about Penny and/or Whooton (Spelling?) because they also have had episodes (I think) about friendship.
(BTW, this information might have come out a long time ago but I just found it tonight so it's new for me)

Oh, here are some notes about the album too:
Digital download release: August 2013
CD release: October 2013 (expected)
In the latest podcast, Paul McCusker and Dave Arnold announced that the title is "A Call to Something More".
They also announced that they would be starting several story arcs, one about Connie (most likely Life Expectancy 1 - 3) and one that involves most of the main characters.
As an Inspiration Station episode didn't appear in Album 56 it may appear in Album 57.
The writers for this album are: Bob Hoose, Marshal Younger, Kathy Buchanan, Nathan Hoobler, Paul McCusker, and Dave Arnold as seen on a video podcast.
Shona Kennedy, the winner of the "Get in the Show" contest will appear in Life Expectancy 1 - 3.
There will be an two part episode centered on the story of Hannah and Samuel that takes place in the Imagination Station, this was recorded on January 21, 2013. This episode is directed by Nathan Hoobler, and music by John Campbell and features Jon Curry and Keith Ferguson as actors.
An episode recorded on January 22, 2013 features acting talent by Katie Leigh, Will Ryan, and Audrey Wasilewski
An episode recorded on January 23, 2013 features acting by Andy Pessoa, Katie Leigh, Will Ryan, and Kimmy Robertson, Whit Hertford, and sound-design by Nathan Jones.
Another episode recorded on January 23, 2013 features acting by Andre Stojka, Christina Puccelli, Whit Hertford and Kelly Stables.
