As Mitch's memorial service ends, I am left with an amazing sensation gently ruling my heart. Because my heart echoes the chords of emotion ignited by Connie's sobs of "I love you Whit." And Whit's, "Oh, Connie... I love you too."
So many moments ind Odyssey reach into the heart. Once you let yourself care about the characters, there are many places you can travel emotionally with them. Emily's perseverance, determination, and desperate wish to find favor in her parents' eyes, in Emily the Genius. The brief yet loved scene of Mitch bringing Connie to Trickle Lake and revealing a picnic. Mandy as Dotty singing at the end of The Great Wishy Woz.
What has made you cry, err... okay, so a lot of us don't cry at AIO. But, shall I admit, I do? Quite a bit, in fact. So, now I sound like a total baby. Oh well. Boo hoo.
Point is, whether that darn wet stuff comes out of our eyes or not, on this site, we often talk of moments in AIO that moved us. So, what episode in AIO had that bit that you remember, that stood out, and invoked smile, a sniffle, or even a moment of just standing still?
What has Odyssey made you feel?

The last scene of The Pact always gets me. And Connie and Mitch, where Connie says, "No, I will not marry you." And the last scene of Something old, Something New.

Almost every bit of Where is Thy Sting? makes me want to absolutely burst into tears, and the last scene in Greater Love with P.D. Barnes, Tom, and Whit actually made me teary. Even Mistaken For Good gets me want to cry, in a good and happy way.

Oh, There is also To Mend or Repair. Child's Play also got me a little bit. Then their is E&K's first wedding.

Child's Play? Really? When did that make you cry? Oh, and I forgot The Mortal Coil. That was a bit of a tearjerker, in a weird way.

Recollections makes me teary every time I listen to it. Also, is it just me or does everyone else get a kind of sad feeling when Mr. Skint leaves Buck? I always want to smack that hick accent right out of Skint when he just up and walks out on Buck.

Hmm... Sort of. And The Time Has Come and The Final Conflict make me get emotional as well. I don't cry, but I just feel - I can't really describe it. It's just an exhilarating feeling.

It was just such a sweet moment with Joy and Katrina, and Kyle and Eugene.

I didn't cry, but I felt like I was about to.

The Mortal Coil scared me when I first listened to it, because I started crying, and I had never cried during something like that before.

The Mortal Coil gets FREAKY! I didn't think Whit would die, but the whole episode was powerful, unsettling, and intense. And I loved it.

Wow, God'sgirl, how neat that the Coil inspired such emotions in you. Fear, confusion, sadness... The Mortal Coil, needless to say, AIO pretty much at its best. And, Suzy, I'm sad when Mr. Skint leaves, certainly. However, I don't want to smack him. I'm too touched by his hurt murmur of "Suit yourself lad. I'm going to miss you. I really will."
Of course, you are more violent than I. I still am unconvinced you meant "pat" me not "slap"...

I wanted to punch James Wakefield really hard when I heard The Mysterious Stranger! That episode is definitely in my Top 10 list.

I really like the episode the Mortal Coil, and I have listened to it maybe 4-5 times? Everytime I listen to it, it still makes me cry.

I would have to say so myself. And Mortal Coil was good.

Clara was probably the most heartwarming episode. I absolutely cannot get over Alan Young's, Paul Herlinger's, and, of course, ARIA CURZON'S performance in this episode! If anyone other than Aria would've played Clara, it might have been ruined.

I would have to agree with you, Mr. Thinker. This was a truly an amazing episode. Speaking of which- I haven't listened to it in quite a while. I need to go listen to it again!
