This could either be about the episode or the organization. Personally, I liked Guy Smiley, that he got saved at the end and disowned the group, but I felt like Aubrey mostly. I liked Guy, he was different, but the group made me want to pull out my hair. And the song.....

This is an episode that I listen to every once in a while. I feel really sad when:
The guy with the platinum hair is annoying.

I liked Guy. Nobody else it was so FREAKY! Poor Aubrey.

And, underseasie- when my little brother heard it, he would go around singing it to everyone. It was so cute!

I totally agree. I wanted to die personally!

I and my sibs sometimes sing it too as part of a joke. But, as far as being annoying, (ugh, I'm sick of everyone using that word describe AIO) we all know the Happy Smilers were supposed to be annoying! Even though they're annoying, or, perhaps because they're annoying, they're pretty funny.

My question is how the writes ever thought of that idea!!! What a wild idea!!! I would LOVE to hear the story behind that one.

That episode was NOT my favorite! The song is what kind of ruined it.

OK, I kinda have a love/hate realtionship with that song. Sometimes I sing it all the time and others...well, let's just say I won't have any hair left I pull at it so much! My sister jumps on me every time I say "Just keep thinking POOOSITIVELY!", so that reveals what she thinks about it!

I think it's interesting how John Beebee blended funny and annoying (The Happy Smilers) with serious and deep. (Guy's conversion and ultimate death.
