So, what did you guys think of this episode?
"Next up, Mark Morgan's message to all math maniacs in the middle school is meaningful if you mingle by the mezzanine for a momentous mix of methodological mayhem and a menagerie of multiplicative inversions. Ha ha ha! I bet I could say this backwards. Inversions multiplicative of menagerie a and mayhem methodological..."

It had a lot of humor, but was balanced by a lot of heart. I think it gave all three Perkins some great character development. I disagree that everything Bridget and Carla did was wrong (Wyatt definitely was wrong) but that's really the only problem I had with the episode. Aside from that, another great entry in the family's story arc!

This was an interesting episode. This entire episode takes place in Connellsville, which is pretty notable.

The official summary of this episode is: “The Perkins clan upsets another military family by sharing too much about life’s challenges ... and rat milk”. It’s quite interesting that Wyatt’s fake fact about rat milk was put into the summary. Also, quite a surprising thing to read for the first time.

I liked Wyatt in this episode. His made-up facts were hilarious, along with the fact that Miles believed everything Wyatt said. I laughed when Miles asked, “Was the last solar eclipse really just astronauts on the space station holding up a giant round tarp?” Wyatt's fake facts about rat milk causing whiskers to grow on your liver and the “trampoline-based friendship” were funny. Although Wyatt's whole thing about a “leper kid” on the trampoline was amusing, I’m not sure if leprosy is something to be joking about. :?

Angela sounds a little like Becky Clemmens (Tom Riley's sister). Also, this may be my brain playing tricks on me, but there were some points where the actress who plays Shelly sounds a little too young. I was distracted in the scene where Shelly prays with Carla because she sounded too much like a kid. But that may just be me.

This is the first episode where it is explicitly established that the Perkins are not Christians. I actually wasn’t entirely aware of this fact until Marshal Younger pointed it out in a recent episode of the Official Podcast. I wonder if the AIO team plans to do multiple episodes leading up to the Perkins’ conversion. I'd be interested in seeing that.

Overall, interesting episode. I enjoyed it and thought it was pretty good. I'll definitely be listening to it many more times, but I liked the Perkins family's previous episode, "Bridget, Redefined", better.
