Some of us have been discussing music lately... I thought maybe we could discuss Odyssey music. I'd like to get a few of your thoughts on Wooten's masterpiece "My Ode to Macaroni." Personally I loved the song, and laughed till I couldn't see straight, but after all it is sort of pointless... Maybe I have been giving the impression that all pointless songs are evil... and I wanted to correct that misconception. A steady diet of pointless songs I believe, can end up a lot of wasted time. And then again....

I'd love to hear who else enjoyed this episode!

I LOVED this episode!!! It's so hilarious!! I literally looked up Wooten's song on youtube, and played it over and over. So yeah, my time might have been wasted during that time...

I have added that episode to my mental list of Odyssey favorites. I literally laughed til I cried over Bart's "Electric Palace do-da song" And Wooton's song made me laugh pretty hard too. Who wishes they could have heard Connie's song? I was mad at Bryan Durn for quacking her so soon! I really wanted to hear what kind of song she concocted!

But isn't Tomika's song soft rock.... NM.
I hated Wooton's song. I felt my ears being revolted.

I think the producers never had a song for Connie... or all they came up with was the masterpiece of "I tripped" therefore she couldn't sing her song if she had no lines to sing And Eugene was of course the hero, because it was ultimately supposed to promote Will Ryans work of "Eugene Sings."

Do you like anything Blitz? About Odyssey?

I love stuff about Odyssey. I liked Tomika's song and the Officer's song.

But those weren't even funny!! I tend to like the things that make me laugh the hardest

That was a hilarious episode! I really liked Connie's song. And Bryan Dern was fantastic!

It took me a while to realize that Dern quacked his grandma in the beginning...

I used to always quote Bart Rathbone's song. If someone was humming Camptown Races (that is what the melody is, right?) then I would start singing, "Electric Palace dooh-dah song, dooh-dah, dooh-dah, discount prices all day long, oh the dooh-dah day!!!" The person wouldn't know AIO, so yeah, they would think I was weird...

Oh my WORD!!! I do that same exact thing!!!! They be like, "This girl obviously has issues..." xD

On Wooton's Ode:
It was really funny
Whenever anyone in our house starts fantasizing about some kind of food, someone will inevitably start singing "(name)'s Ooooode, to (whatever food)"

"Wootton's Ode to Macaroni was hilarious! And the Electric Palace Do-Dah Song?! LOL!! Also love how Connie never gets to sing her song.
