I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this episode, because I can see it dividing some fans. Personally, I have a bit of a soft spot for it, mostly because of fond memories of listening to it when I first discovered AIO, plus it has some of my favorite characters. But I realize the plot is extremely cliche, and I can see many AIO fans hating it.

I enjoy the episode, but it is a bit of a downer for me personally. I taught me that I should, um, stay away from ice machines!

It seemed unrealistic to me. I guess with the above comment, It taught me to never go to public schools.

Ha ha. What do you mean by "unrealistic"?

All those bad things happening in one day. I'm not saying they could not happen, but highly unlikely.
I don't however, recall at the moment all that happened in this episode...

True!
Stay away from bikes, hard-headed friends, nice sweates, and broken watches, too!

My favorite line was Alex:
(gasp) Did you take one of those "Do not remove" tags off your mattress?!
Did anyone else notice some parallels between this episode and the Book of Job? Or was that the whole point?

I think that was kind of the point.

I've only heard this story about 3 times, and it's been a few years since I've heard it. I remember it being a mediocre episode. Not bad, but not really that great either.

Wow, that's a really good point! I never considered that before.
