Rescue from Manatugo Point

Can someone answer me something from this episode? I believe this is the one where Whit loses part of his ear, right? I have two of the Odyssey Guides, one from 1997 and the latest one, and they contradict each other when they say which ear Whit is partially missing. The latest one says it is the left ear, which is what I'm thinking, but which ear does the episode say? Thanks!

Except it wasn't in Resccue from Mantugo Point, it was in Operation Digout. Nope it says his right ear. Just listened to it to check.

I guess that means the newest Guide made a mistake.

That's kind of funny... But I guess just like with the last guide, this one has it's mistakes too.

I've never heard this episode. If I have, it was a long time ago! I really want to hear this one. 1930s - 1950s is my favorite time period. I really love East Winds, Raining.
