Push the Red Button

This episode was a little different from the live show. It didn't have Jason or his funny comments. Did you still like it? Should they have left the quote "She's like melted butter on the croissant of life" in the episode?

I wasn't there so I don't know. Wait, Jason was in the Live show one? :) Was the live show one good?

The live show was awesome! The studio version was the same, but many things were taken out and shortened.

This has a really great quote in it.

Goodness and beauty will always exist as long as god exists. And since god will always exist, mankind will have his Truth, goodness and beauty to turn to.

I love this quote!

Indeed, Coleman is a genius... like all those AIO people. I shall never ever forget Cris's phony wrap up... an unforgettable moment of hilarious glee. That was one of those things I knew it would be super easy to cut out and was rrreally hoping they wouldn't... sigh. But the different on CD version is still fantastic. A chaotic bit of absolute, priceless mayhem, that in the end leaves you thinking a bit.
Only objections: Matthew, ala Mystery of the Clock Tower, is just there to be funny and makes rather dumb suggestions instead of exhibiting his trademark technical prowess. But since it all turns out to be a dream, it's really just one of several logical impossibilities we need to throw out the window.
Some big pluses: Wooton was priceless, we got to see Penny and Connie spending time together again, the villain was unbelievably hilarious, as was the librarian at moments. They squeezed Captain Absolutely into a nice, big, fun role, and importantly, Whit, through it all, is on top of things, trying to get matters back together as Whit should.
Well done, indeed.

I liked it, but, without Jason it's nothing to write home about.

Studio version: They cut half of the show out. The interesting parts, that is. 1/100.
Live version: Epical! (My friend came up with the word).

Why do people say that? It's virtually impossible for them to coincidentally cut out every part that people liked. This may just be crazy talk, but maybe people just like certain things in the original show (like Chris's awesome fake wrap up) and miss them.
