Yeah, from a hilarious sitcom of the same name.

It was a single episode and then never mentioned again, but I really liked that one ;D

He might. I wanted to see it just to be able to appreciate Kate and Willy's reaction to it, though xD

Some people might, privately.

We, as a whole, don't. I don't really see the appeal :P

Eh, candy stops being a plus when you try to keep your health in shape, especially when you play baseball like I do. Face paint sounds delightful, though.

I wanna dress up as some random Harry Potter character not even the guy who played him on the film remembers him, then get mad at people when they fail to recognize me from 3000 feet away. It's gonna be so fun...

We have a long list of Summer festivals and parades.

You and I are one and the same, dude. I also love it xD

Well, the most popular one is likely to be el Carnaval de Gualeguaychú, which is all about music, costumes and fun. It's really fun to watch, even from the sidelines or TV.

There's also El Carnaval Carioca, which is the Brazilian mega party and it is so much fun. It's like a boosted Gualeguaychú one.

Other than that, there's music events and place-exclusive events. The city I used to love in would close the year with a giant fireworks display atop the mountains. Now, that was epic.

Wait, does this mean I have access to all your stomachs? \:D/

Golly you guys have cool festivities. :D I wish we had more costume-related holidays here. What type of costumes do people dress up in?

FIREWORKS YESSS! Like the kind that explode in the sky?

Precisely ;D

It's hard to explain... think of a mixture of traditional clothing and then far-out stuff, like giant colorful dresses and the like. Sounds messy, but comes together quite beautifully.

Yeah, and it would last for twenty minutes or so. I only attended a couple of those New Year events, sadly, but the memories will stick with me forever.

I like it a lot because they would close the mountain roads days before, while they were setting them up, so as to not spoil the surprise. Little details go a long way.

We shall share the stomachs.\:D/

Sounds like an anime convention. :P

Agreeeeeed. It's that moment of dawning comprehension when you realize how exactly how far they've gone to make it special. :D

Hypothetical scenario time: if you were being attacked by a some gigantically hairy creature, like a yeti or mutated gorilla or something, would you go for the machine gun or the pick ax?

Definitely.

Don't go around mocking the lore of my land xD

Trust me, it was something else. They'd go the whole nine yards, too... even closing all paths leading to the castle, which was the spot from where all fireworks were launched and one of the most popular landmarks, so you can see they cared.

The pick axe. I want to be able to feel the life getting squeezed out of it. Guns are too noisy, and way too impersonal.

Don't think of it as mockery; it's the highest compliment a weeb like myself can pay.

OMG There was a castle involved??? O.o \:D/

You are...quite mercenary. I love it  Have you ever hunted?
