Nah, you're good. I work in a grocery store called Lowes Foods as a cashier. It's not the most thrilling job, but it pays the bills.
It's basically just another expensive Harris Teeter or Whole Foods with a bunch of preppy, rich people.

I know Lowes Food. The one where I lived smelled like yeasty bread in the foyer when they first opened it. Are there any perks to working there? Besides MONEY, I mean.

I love some of the customers. I get a lot of older people and they're just fun to mess around with!

I honestly had to think about that for a few minutes. My branch is super unprofessional. The employees gossip CONSTANTLY. Like they'll gossip about the customer as they're checking them out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'd like to apply somewhere else, but I don't think anywhere will hire me cuz I can only work a couple times a week.

The store is usually pretty loud. Once, while I checked out a less than pleasant customer, one of my coworkers came up behind me and called the customer another word for a female dog.
