What's it like wearing two silk eye patches? Does it make it hard to find one's way in the dark? *snickers*

BTW, cute avatar. Do you like Calvin and Hobbes as much as Goldstone Wood? :D
I sense some hidden meaning in your turns of phrase... However, I shall graciously respond, and ignore any veiled impertinence for the moment.

It would be very difficult for a mortal such as yourself to understand how I find the paths I find. Rest assured, though, since I was found, I have never been lost.

I enjoy almost anything with a good sense of humor and a ready wit!

Impertinence? What reason have I to be impertinent? :P

Indeed...does your Prince look after you where'er you go?

Oh, do you enjoy Pound Foolish then? He has a good sense of humor and a ready wit! O.o

Good people, I am afraid I have kept you waiting for my answers once again! Alas, I am still quite busy going about my Prince's work, so I shall have to answer your questions as briefly as possible.

Unfortunately, I am not informed as to your motivations, my good lady. Ah, that great mystery that is the mortal mind...

Yes, indeed!

I do not know this foolish one of pounds, but if he is in any way related to Leonard the Fool...

At this mention of Leonard the Fool, I feel that it should also be noted that anything by Leonard the Fool that claims to be, ahem, "satirizing" my work is to be ignored and/or destroyed. Both options are acceptable.

Oh, is that what this is? (Could you sense my sarcasm? I like to think I'm good at it, but I don't wish to brag...)

In other news, the wildly popular, 'Eanrin's Fashion Tip of the Day' series returns!
Today's tip: A single starflower sets off dark hair to great advantage. Not that I'm thinking of anyone in particular, of course.

Greetings, mortals! I have just discovered that an oversight on the part of the glorious administration has led to my veritable fount of wisdom remaining rather illegally in the realm known as "The Gallery."
Good minions, join in the slightly unauthorized and likely short-lived fun—bring your questions forth!

Elegant prose such as mine cannot be measured in words or time!

I shall write a poem to express my feelings on this subject whilst I await more enquiries. Alas, the fun is now all-too-authorized.

The poetry of the great Bard
Can never be measured in time.
For wording is never that hard
For Eanrin, the master of rhyme!

(So that you might more fully marvel at my wondrous grasp and preservation of rhythm, mortals unfamiliar with the faerie tongue should note that my name is pronounced "Yann-rin.")

Wow. I'm impressed. O.o (Not really)

How old are you?

Do you listen to AIO?

What thinkest thou of old English?

What does "Bard of Rudiobus" mean/come from?

Why did you disappear?

What's your avatar of?

Also impertinent.
...And I may possibly have lost track. I don't often bother to measure things in linear years.
Miss Friendship wrote:Do you listen to AIO?
I would rather listen to the sound of my own golden voice singing the virtues of my fairest Lady Gleamdren.
Miss Friendship wrote:What thinkest thou of old English?
I prefer the faerie tongues to clumsy mortal language. Alas, I fear my beautiful poetry often loses its full meaning when translated into mortal tongues. And it doesn't help matters when that dratted Leo starts intentionally butchering my poems. Hmph.
Miss Friendship wrote:What does "Bard of Rudiobus" mean/come from?
Surely you must have heard of Rudiobus! It is the court of Queen Bebo and King Iubdan, where I, Eanrin, serve as Chief Poet! Lumé's light, girl, do you know anything about the faerie folk?
Miss Friendship wrote:Why did you disappear?
I was off having an adventure, as one does from time to time.
Miss Friendship wrote:What's your avatar of?
One of my kin. He goes by the moniker of 'Hobbes.'
Blitz wrote:Welcome back Eanrin!

I do occasionally prefer to sing instead.
Blitz wrote:Where did you go this time?
Oh, here and there. Rescuing my Lady Gleamdren. Getting that dratted Leo out of trouble. I returned to Rudiobus for a short spell of ten mortal years or so.

Welcome back, Eanrin! I actually referenced you and Hermione a while ago. It's always fun to see you disappear and then resurface to make a sarcastic comment.

Have you ever considered the possibility that you might be prideful?

What is your greatest fault?

What are your thoughts on the language of sarcasm?

The Complete Works of Eanrin the Bard - Volume VII. An excellent read!

The Bard Eanrin does not allow himself to be limited by arbitrary restrictions. I choose to remain happily ensconced in Rudiobus!
Miss Friendship wrote:Have you ever considered the possibility that you might be prideful?
The idea was once suggested to me, but after considering it for some time, I concluded that the opposite is true: I am far too humble.
What is your greatest fault?
After pondering this question for several hours, I have at last discovered the answer: I fear that I occasionally allow myself to suffer the foolishness of mortals for far too long. I worry that Leonard and Felix will drive me through all three of my lives in short order.
What are your thoughts on the language of sarcasm?
Having never used it myself, I can't imagine what you're talking about.

Eanrin's Fashion Tip of the Day is back! Today's tip: Jester's outfits make one look absolutely ridiculous. If you should see Leo wearing one, remind him of this fact.

So Hobbes is of your kin? You certainly come from an illustrious line, my bard. What tales do you have to tell of the Prince of Farthestshore?

Greetings, mortals! I return, but not for long. Bring your questions hence, lest I disappear and leave you with unanswered quandaries.
NinjaHunter wrote:What tales do you have to tell of the Prince of Farthestshore?
I have many tales to tell, but at the moment I am far too busy to recount them. If you care to wait a few thousand mortal years, they will be released in the updated edition of "The Complete Works (thus far) of Eanrin the Bard in One Volume." (Quite a hefty tome, if I do say so myself!)
HomeschoolCowgirl wrote:Which five people, past or present, real or fiction, do you most admire? Most despise?
Whom do I admire? My Prince, of course, King Iubdan and Queen Bebo, without question, brave princesses who rescue their land from an age-old curse... And of course my fairest Gleamdren!

So many to despise... but that dratted Leo. I should not speak more on this.

Eanrin's Fashion Tip of the Day: As spring approaches in the mortal realm, sadly fashion must sometimes bow to practicality. Rain means water, and water means getting wet. I shudder at the very thought! Prepare yourselves accordingly, in tasteful but practical attire. Boots and cloaks are an absolute must, although I will add, a hat with a dashing plume never goes amiss.
