It won't be a wedding ring at that point. It'll be a piece of bovine bling. And no, while I have nothing against multiple husbands, I don't see much use in marrying an ox. My horoscope probably predicts against it. :D

If you don't nerd over Dr. Who, what do you nerd over? :?

I joined in 1012, so I've now been a member for four years. Yow.

I like it because people are on it are witty, smart charming. And when someone joins who's not it's always hugely entertaining. The Odyssey talk is still up and going. And for Pete's sake, it's people of all ages fanning out over flipping radio drama. Radio drama which most people identify with the forties and fifities. We're huge fans of sound design, voice over acting, and the years keep going by and the passion is still there. It's a little group of people who love an art form most of America, despite its cultural richness, is letting die. And its children's show, a flipping children's show and everyone's okay with that because we believe firmly that great stories can come from anywhere. It's glorious.

I've been to Avonlea, Calormen, Archenland and Narnia, Middle Earth, Equestria, Camelot...

Speciesist. What have you got against Oxes?

You know what I nerd over. Everything. Except that.

Dyed and painted with bunnies.
Helios wrote:So, um, would you nerd over....Game of Thrones?
Ha ha. Being that is essentially porn with some story I don't know. I do know some prominent Christian author friends who love it religiously and are influenced by it. I'm sure it's good, we'll see, maybe some day.
Didi wrote: *hands you ten bucks*
I never accept bribery. *swipes ten dollars* So I'll accept this a gift.
Didi wrote:How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
A confused young man with ambitions he sort-of lives up to.
Didi wrote:Do you like...ferrets?
Yes. They're nifty looking and move in a cool way.
Didi wrote:Have you ever dyed your hair?
Alas no. I'd like to but it's expensive, I don't know if I'm committed enough to hand over my book and chocolate money.
Didi wrote:If you had to date one person from AIO, who would it be?
There really aren't that many women my age on the show. Can I say Liz since she's probably my age by now? Actually, I'd also love to date Jules. She's smart and a good conversationalist and real.
Didi wrote:Do you like trolls or are do you find them extremely obnoxious?
Mixed feelings. They're entertaining but I have no wish for us to swarmed with trolls again.

Okay, if you would date Jules, would you date the voice-actor?

Do you exercise?
Which character from Adventures in Odyssey would you compare yourself to?
How would you describe your sense of humour?
Why do you like watching MLP? :|

Helios wrote:Okay, if you would date Jules, would you date the voice-actor?
Maybe? She's the opposite of Jules, an adorable Lucy style goody-two shoes.
GJFH wrote:What is your favourite candy?
Milky ways.
GJFH wrote:Do you exercise?
Lightly, I've done about 60-75 push-ups today and I run.
GJFH wrote:Which character from Adventures in Odyssey would you compare yourself to?
Hrm. That's hard because there's not really a bookish, writer, movie type in Odyssey, somebody who just loves stories. Maybe Alex for his web obsession. *strokes screen lovingly*
GJFH wrote:How would you describe your sense of humour?
Dry, sometimes cruel, over the top.
GJFH wrote:Why do you like watching MLP?
Thank you for asking that question as Hillary would say. Seriously I do love answering that question.

I believe in the message of the fandom. Gender roles need to loosen. Men shouldn't be judged for staying home taking care of kids, women shouldn't be judged either for being a housewife or working. We expect women and men to watch different things, when it makes no difference.

The show's creator, Lauren Faust, and the writers strongly believe a show being "for girls" shouldn't imply anything about quality. That they can still put their heart and soul into, be proud they make a cartoon for girls.

The show itself is funny and just a good cartoon. That's the main thing really, I just love my cartoons. Some friends suggested it to me, my siblings got into it, and I followed suit (we have virtually identical tastes.) The jokes are sharply witty, the characters likable and ever evolving, the animation appealing, the morals usually good, and the stories strong. Because it's a girl's show it can have gentle slice of life episodes or exciting, big battle episodes, both fitting the audience. Plus it's a fantasy, it's about Pegasus and unicorns, magic, manticores, dragons, I'm here for that kind of thing.

Out of curiosity what are the titles of the books you wrote?
Since you're a guy I was wondering why do you like Tinker Bell?

I don't write books, but I write short stories!
I enjoyed the Tinker Bell movies from Disneytoon studios. They were better than they had any right to be. I also love the Peter Pan film. My Tinker Bell fanboy has calmed down quite a lot, but I respect the character and those films.

*empties wallet* I think I have $10 to spare. But what is the purchase? The answers, I assume. But is it a $10 purchase per question or per post with questions? Oh, well, it's for no charge, so I guess I'm good. \:D/ :P

What have you been up to since your last posts?

What is your favorite topic on the Soda Shop? Any memorable interactions on any particular threads here?

What is your opinion on onions?

If you could time travel to any era, which one would you choose, and why?
